My husband is 64, and I am 58 with extensive arthritis. We wanted a way to build strenght to protect our back and joints without creating a whole new set of problems. We made the right choice with the Total Gym. I am considerably overweight (not for long) and was concerned that I'd be too uncoordinated to do all the of the Start Up Program exercises, but I'm happy to say I can do them all. We both agree that it's actually enjoyable exercising with the Total Gym and wish we had started sooner. Not only is the equipment substantial and comfortable to use, the Total Gym staff have put a lot of care into providing good, enjoyable instructional materials. It is well worth the time to watch the videos (or read the written instructions) to make sure you are are getting the most out of each exercise. Thank you to Total Gym. How nice to have equipment that works so well on us old, creeky people as well as the young, fit ones.

I'm 52 and work different hours, so I was looking for a way to work out whenever I wanted. I've had my eye on a Total Gym for some time and finally gifted myself with one. I started working out the very first day it arrived. I could see a difference by day two. So could others. I work out every day and not only do I look and feel great, I am mentally and emotionally healthier as well! Thanks!

I decided to purchase the Total Gym to give me opportunities to workout at home. I also hoped that my husband who has below the knee amputations of both legs could do some of the exercises too. The Total Gym is assessible for him to workout on with lower adjustments of table. I use it for stress relief and hoped for wieght loss. It has helped in both areas. It also has given my husband and I something to do together again.
Pros: Strengthens, Sturdy, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Easy Storage, Comfortable if short, Quiet Operation
Cons: At times jumps track, Uncomfortable, Heavy, Not long enough if tall

I LIKE THIS PRODUCT. IT IS EASY TO DO MY CRUNCHES ON. I DON'T REALLY USE THE VIDEO I JUST DO WHATEVER.WHEN U LIE ON UR STOMACHE AND PULL UP,IT IS A WONDERFUL FEELING FOR YOUR BACK(RELAXING).I DO THINNK IT IS GREAT TO HAVE.I IS A BIT EXPENSIVE,AND I KNW I SHOULDN'T HAVE, BUT IT IS WORTH IT.

I have Arthritis in my knees and lower back. I am able to work out pain free. I love my Total Gym. I recommend it to all of my friends.
