The total gym has been great for me, my husband and 8 year old son. we all 3 can work on different areas. It has so many levels you can work on and so many excerises you can do. we all love it and ive lost 8 lbs so far. it also has helped my back to become stronger reducing my back pain. great product! so happy we purchased it.

I have kids and it was so hard to get the weight and the extra tummy flab off. I began walking 4 days a week for an hour each time, I ate those smart choice dinner box that has under 220 calories for lunch and dinner, for breakfast I ate fruit and made sure I ate 2 snacks a day which consisted of fruit or veggies. And with the total gym used a different part of the gym each day to target those areas. I had this for 2 months now and have kost 16lbs and even though I am not where I want to be at this moment I believe in 3 months I will. Its so amazing I didnt have arm strngth and now I do. If your looking for something great that works you have to buy a total gym. I no longer have love handles.Yea!

I started out using the machine 3x a week and doing those workouts I knew I could do but were still a challenge. I am starting from years of ZERO workouts to committing to change. Due to a business issue I had to stop using it but am getting back into the swing of things now. So missed a couple of weeks but am getting back into regular training. What I have noticed is tightening of arms and legs, regaining strenth in arms and legs. Since I am starting out I am careful not to overdo as I have back issues and am totally out of condition. What I love about this machine is that the work is provided by ME - with my weight and the flexibility of adjusting the training height as you do different workouts. It also glides easily and is not noisy in the slightest. Issues I do have right now with it is that opening and storing can be tricky until you get used to it. Also changing routines where you have to switch out implements can be clunky but I think that may be a learning curve issue. However, I tend to stick to one kind of training before going to the next so I don't lose the aerobic feeling. All in all I am very pleased with the machine. As with anything in an informercial I am skeptical but this one is really exactly what it says it is. I'm glad that I purchased it.

Cons: Hard To Set Up, Bulky

I do the curcuit training on my Total Gym, I feel energized when I get done, its so cool how all of the exercises are mellow while doing them, its that 10 minutes after when you know it works...

I use this machine 4 - 6 times a week. It is easy to use, the dvd's that come with it are great. I've had it for several months and still have not used it to its fullest potential. There is so much to explore - I never get bored. I use the Total Gymn primarily for strenth and flexibility training. I use an elliptical for my cardio workout. These are the only two machines I have and at 50+, I am in the best shape of my life.

We had a different type of weight machine and the Total Gym is so much easier to learn and use. There are tapes that help, but once you've gotten started, you don't really need them unless you want to use them. I work up a sweat quickly every time I use it.
