Good option for home exercise

I use my Total Gym to supplement health club workouts. It helps me fit exercise into days where I have a very busy schedule. Pros: Nicely laid out exercise plans to fit a variety of specific goals. Machine is portable, easy to use and quiet. Option to add your own weights and various attachments are offered to expand the capabilities of the machine. Cons: The bench did fall off during one workout. It is not quite as sturdy as a health club machine but worth the sacrifice for portability. Set-up and put away is a little cumbersome. It does not fit under my bed as I had hoped. Overall, I am very happy with the machine and don't think there is much that could be changed without impacting the really great features it has.
Pros: Easy To Use, Quiet Operation
Cons: Flimsy

I have had my Total Gym now for a couple months and with regular use I am seeing great results. We found a place to keep the gym set up all the time which has worked out great. I try to use the Total Gym 5 - 6 times per week and having it set up and ready to use makes this so convenient. The quality of the gym is great, and the training tapes provided are easy to follow. I have gotten so I can now work out without the tapes if I want to get in a quick ab,arm or leg workout. I love the Total Gym and am so pleased we decided to make the purchase. It may seem like a lot of money - but the quality and results have made it worth the cost and I know this gym will last for years to come. Thanks Total Gym!

The Total Gym XLS is a sturdy and well made piece of equipment. I am a new user and so far I love it. I assume the Total Gym will last for many years to come. Way to go Chuck Norris!! I Love My Total Gym

I felt very out of shape and asked for the Total Gym for mothers day. I wanted to get in shape and firm up. I use it everyday and my body has changed and I also lost 12 pounds. I plan to continue on my exercise routine and continue to get my body stronger. I am 5' 4" and weigh 120 and my clothes fit great. I can feel the change in my body. Our 2 daughters home from college have also used the gym and love it. You get whatever workout you want by putting in the effort.

Overall very impressed with the Total Gym. The foot rest is cracking but other than that the rest has been good. I use the Total Gym 6 to 7 days a week to supplement the treadmill and bike.
