After setting it up, I let it sit in my living room for a few days...intimidated by it's size I think. However, once I began to use my cards I was amazed at how smooth each exercise really was. I now go through my workout cards like a daily meal plan and I feel great. My XLS arrived at the start of a hectic summer schedule. With August here, I'm finally getting back into the routine of working out each morning prior to my 3-mile walk w/my retrievers. So far I've found it easy to use and I'm hoping in a couple months (or less) to see and feel the results. The black insert that is glued where the pins slide through on the wing bar is not adhered and aligned, so it's a real challenge to swap out as the pin won't line up.

Cons: Defective adhesive, Flimsy

I'm 6'2" and in order to do the exercises that have you put your feet at the bottom of the platform, my head is a few inches over the head pad.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Strengthens, Sturdy, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use
Cons: TOO SHORT, Uncomfortable

This is my second Total Gym, replacing one I used for 12 years. It is the best piece of exercise equiment there is, gym memberships included, because you can address the three fundamentals to a great workout. 1. Resistance training 2. Stretching 3. Aerobic circuit training as it is so easy to quickly move from one exercise to the next; and you can easily put together a program of 20 to 30 exercises. I am 62 years old and can tell you TG is for real.
Pros: Comfortable, Change settings quickly, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Provides a good stretch, Quiet Operation, Sturdy, Strengthens, Just the right resistance, Tons of exercises
