An excellent machine. I've used several different types of equipment and this is by far the most well rounded to achieve total fitness at home. The company itself is very customer oriented and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied.

This is an excellent exercise equipment, especially in your very home. I dont have to go out in the cold, or get up early to get to the gym. I have my own private gym in my home. This equipment will work for you if you use it. It will do what they say it will do as long as you put it to use. I love it. I feel every muscle in my body getting tone.

Wisest Investment Ever!

I am a 41 year-old disabled female and I have only had my Total Gym one week but it has already changed my life for the better in ways I never even imagined possible! I have a ruptured and fused C-5 and C-6 and chronic arthritis has set in. I also have Spinal Degenerative disorder in addition to this. My Physical Therapist put me on a home exercise plan but it was totally boring and painful. You know what they say, "Use it or lose it!" I also have Diabetes among many other chronic medical problems and so I cannot afford not to exercise because of pain or boredom. So I viewed exercise as a very necessary evil prior to purchasing the Total Gym XLS. The Total Gym XLS has already exceeded my expectations. I still cannot get over how easy it is to use. I can now get a really good workout without pain, discomfort, and boredom. I am amazed at how much better I sleep at night. I wake up feeling so refreshed, energized, and ready to take on the day instead of being in pain, my neck feeling like a pretzel, and totally exhausted. It used to take me a good 1.5-2 hours to get woke up and motivated in the mornings. As I mentioned above I used to get bored with my workouts but since there are over 80 exercises that you can do with Total Gym XLS and different add ons that you can purchase for it everyday is a whole new adventure and I now look forward to my daily workout! I love the fact that you can not only do resistance training on Total Gym XLS but also Pilates and Cardio. Total Gym is so easy on my joints and is much easier to adjust than equipment at a gym. Working out on my Total Gym XLS is more fun than work. I now feel that I have control of my health and will have no problem achieving my fitness goals this year! I cannot get over the results I am getting in only one weeks time. I can already feel my abs toning and are seeing more definition in my arms. My range of motion and flexibility has already expanded as well. It is also affecting my mental state of mind in a very positive way as well. I have had ADD all my life and usually struggle to focus and concentrate. I am now focusing for hours and can actually finish things that I start! In addition to this, I am able to do so much more around the house without assistance. I totally love how convenient Total Gym XLS is! I can work out anytime I want and I do not have to worry about missing my work out because of the gym closing at night! It is so nice to be able to get a good work out in the privacy of my own home. Total Gym XLS is the wisest investment that I have ever made! It is well worth every single penny! Health is priceless and it feels so good to be investing in myself! I am impressed beyond words with the Total Gym staff so far. They are so very supportive and encouraging. I cannot help but to believe that they are not just in it for the money. I truly believe that they really care about their customers. They stand behind their product and are always eager to help and answer any questions that I have and I have had many LOL! They always reply within hours and do not take days or weeks to reply like other companies! Thank you Total Gym for changing my life for the better!

the best home gym

this is the best home gym ive ever used very stable very quiet and it works in only 3 months ive added 2/and half inhes to my arms 4 inches to my chest and my abs look better then ever if you want to get in the best shape of your life buy this gym i promise it wont let you down!

You know you have a jam-up piece of exercise equipment when you work out before bed to the point that your muscles are shaking so bad that you can hardly move, and you get up the next morning and all you want to do is jump back on it and go at it again. With 80 exercises to choose from, my new XLS offers a variety of challenge to virtually every muscle group. I've been working out at high intensity levels for 2 years now, and my Total Gym workouts leave me sore in places I didn't know I HAD muscles in. It is TOTALLY addictive! Love it, love it, LOVE it!

Cons: HIGHLY ADDICTIVE

Unexpected

Got my TG XLS today (06/30/10). Set-up was easier than others commented. My mother feels that I had made a good choice. As for myself, I really look forward to putting a lot of time on this machine as I did in a regular gym. For the thrill of it, I tried it on level 6 and I must say it was beautiful. Well, tomorrow starts Day 1...wish me luck!

A BIG BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!!

I,m a 64 year old man and use to go to the gym on a membership program and found it very routine and crowded. I puchased the xls total gym around a year ago and have been working out on it for the past month for about an hour a day, at least 5 days a week. I vary the exersizes and have added a few of my own. This is a fantastic lean,mean machine!! It has provided me with a wide range of flexability, toned and strenthen this body. I would highly recommend the xls total gym to all that want to better themselves. Thanks again. My highest regards. MW Bolden P.S. It would be an honor to meet Mr Chuck Norris someday.

So Worth The Money

I've tried everything to lose weight and nothing else has worked for me. After using the Total Gym XLS for only 4 days I've lost 4 lbs. That's a lb a day. The exercises are easy and comfortable.
