All I can say is this is a very simple machine that gives great results. Most of the workout machines I've had in the past were used to hang my clothes on, this I use!

I like total gym, it's just something times I have a hard time trying to figure out how to use some or the workout tools, but I'm do like my total gym easy to store, a little to long for my room, but that's okay.

I didn't realize this machine could really make you sweat and get that heart pumping. It really teaches you proper form and you really feel your muscles working immediately.

My apprehensions vanished!

I expected the product to be noisy and squeaky, but rubber rollers and roller bearings make it pleasant. Not being made in America, which I still would prefer, I thought it would be a disappointment in quality with a short life expectancy, but I think it will last for years, now that I have been using it and see the good construction. It allows me to work out as I please, without travel to a gym, and I can avoid injury by using the very flexible degrees of difficulty and "turn-up the heat" as I improve.
Pros: Sturdy, Strengthens, Worth the money if used, Matches your abilities, Easy To Use, Quiet Operation, Comfortable, Easy To Set Up
Cons: not easy to store, Bulky

I do love my Total Gym XLS

I use my TG XLS every morning. I find the cards are helpful and I like the Pilate dvd. I am very happy with the TG and I am seeing results. My goal is to tone my body more and get into better shape. I am on my way with the TG.

The advertisments make the equipment seem easy to operate, I did not find this to be true. My machine is VERY bulky and hard to move about and set up.
