I purchased the Total Gym to enhance my health and to loss weight an trim up. After just a couple weeks I have found that I am feeling better, lost a few pounds, but I have yet to trim down.
Pros: Comfortable, Sturdy, Easy To Use, Quiet Operation, Strengthens, I found it heavy to move
Cons: Hard To Set Up

Good workout if you use it

For the short time we have used it, it seems like it will be effective. It was bigger than we thought and takes up a little more room than we thought. Didn't store as easily as the commercial shows.

it's hard to stop after just the 6-8 minute workout because it goes so fast and you think "I have to do more", many times I want to do more but it's nice to know you can do the short workout and still be effective. Everyone has 10 minutes to spare-no more excuses! I even look forward to doing the 20 minute workout...it is nothing I dread doing. This is the only type of exercise I have ever gotten up early in the morning to do....it's quiet & versatile. Even my 8 year old uses it.

I have noticed, in the two weeks I have had the total gym XLS, I have toned up some and the weight is coming off and I have gotten two of my friends to do it and also my mom does it a few times a week which is great and more fun to support each other. I like it cause its easy to set up, use, and to store. I have not found anything negative about it.
