Overall I love the Total Gym XLS! The exercise program cards are easy to learn and it's easy to add other exercises. I found some of the chest exercises are uncomfortable and the wires will rub against my arms, and I don't feel like I'm working the muscles as effectively as with free weights. I love all the variations on the squat, and that I can do pull-ups on an incline. I use the Total Gym 3-4 times a week. The XLS is very sturdy - my brother has a different model and he says his is flimsy compared to the XLS. Overall I'm glad we bought it and will continue to use it!

Cons: Takes Up Space

I'm using the total gym to get back into shape and stay that way.I'm really starting to feel some tension in my biceps,etc.i like that fact that I can do various exercises on the total gym
Pros: Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Sturdy

The TOTAL GYM is giving me my life BACK!

After my back injury I thought I would never be able to get a good workout again. I have a long road to recover the ground I lost while in rehab and with the TOTAL GYM I know I can once again get back to a more physical lifestyle and will be able to take my children to the parks and participate in their lives even more.

I use my Total Gym almost every day. It's extremely easy to set up and use. I'm finding muscles I never knew I had. I ordered from the website with the assistance of an online rep. She was very helpful in suggesting the model that would benefit me most.
