It's great to have this in my home. My daughter and I both love using it. At first it was confusing figuring out the different workout routines, and finding the ones that were best for us. Now we're wanting to get the Cyclo-trainer to add more cardio to our workouts. There really isn't anything that I don't like about it, except that I should have done this years ago!
Pros: Quiet Operation, Easy To Use, Sturdy, Comfortable
Cons: None so far

Before the the Total Gym, I rarely worked out and now I can't wait to go home each evening and work out. Changing from each workout is so simple and storage is a breeze.

Love that I can adjust resistance with relative ease. Perfect for a womans workout cos we tend to want to tone and firm rather than than bulk up.

I really appreciated how it came fully assembled. I was surprised at how smooth the glide bed moves. I read other reviews and expected some slight noise, but none, just me panting to keep up. I have enjoyed the dvd workouts, the pace is very quick. I find that I have to pause sometimes until I get used to the routine. There are so many different routines it never gets boring. This was a great investment

The Total Gym finds and works muscles that I didn't even know that I had. I am 46 and, for me, that's not so suprising but for my 16 year old son, it's astonishing. He already weight trains and works out a couple times a day and he also plays his drums at least 2-3 hours a day. He's definitely a hard body and it even found muscles on him that never get worked. It is amazing!

Worth Every Penny!

I'm a middle-aged, cancer survivor and 65 pounds overweight. To say that I'm out of shape is an understatement. I recently had my "A-HA" moment and decided to make a lifestyle change for the better, starting with the Total Gym. I took advantage of the 50% off special w/ the monthly payment plan (thankfully!) for the XL and received it almost 2 weeks ago. Even though I'm out of shape and my endurance isn't as strong as I would like it to be, I haven't missed a day of exercising with it. With other exercise equipment or videos purchased in the past, I would have been "over it" by now. Not with the Total Gym. I know I have a long road ahead to reach my weight loss and fitness goals, but now these goals seem achievable and not so far out of reach. Thank you Total Gym!!! ***I know my review (Easy to use/Hard to use) seems contradictory, but let me explain to those of you considering purchasing the Total Gym. It is very easy to set up and very easy to use, but to follow along with the videos takes a "swift dexterity" that I just don't have (yet). You constantly have to adjust your Total Gym to different levels/settings and add, remove or change out different accessories during your workout and this takes time. So in that respect, it's a bit difficult.
