I love the thing! The only trouble is changing it around. But I think the thing has spoiled me. My lower body is stornger than my upper- and my back is stronger than my chest, so it's up and down up amd down... but in fairness, I am finished an hour earlier that I would be in the gym... So WHAT AM I GRIPPING ABOUT? IT'S AWESOME! BUY IT! NOW!

I am using this product in addition to an eliptical machine we purchased. I am slowly losing weight, but quickley building muscle. The Total Gym is amazeing. Very easy to use. I cant wait to get home from work and work out. The only problem I have with it is getting off of the unit when it is on level 1 and 2, its very close tro the floor.
Pros: Strengthens, Comfortable, Quiet Operation, Easy To Use, Easy To Set Up, Sturdy
Cons: Hard to get off of unit

The video is a great help as my wife and I use it. Having the men and women workout makes it more comfortable for us to use and easier to stay on track. The low impact/aerobic workout is excellent for me since I have injured discs in my back and worn out knees. We are older and not the atheletic types and the Total Gym helps us to get in some exercise and shape up.

I do like it, I was working out on it when I had to have emergency sergey done and I cant work out on it for a while. but when I was working out on it I love it. It is hard to put away, and it was making a noise before I got sick. It kept sticking.
Pros: Strengthens, Sturdy, Easy To Use, Comfortable, Easy To Set Up
Cons: It is heavy, I do have a hard time, Lifting it, Noisy Operation

I like to workout 3-4 times a week. It's a better workout than my free weights! I can do more exercises, it's much easier on the joints, and the range-of-motion is better. With free weights, I'm always conscious of how much (or how little) weight I'm lifting. With Total Gym it's not a consideration at all. I use the resistance and reps that seem to give the best workout for each exercise. It makes for an excellent workout; safe, sane, and satisfying.

Our family absolutely loves the Total Gym XLS. My husband lost 6lbs in two weeks! He loves his growing biceps and disappearing love handles! I love the smooth motions and overall feeling of getting a good muscle workout! It is a great activity for us to enjoy together. Our kids even love to "work out".
