I had a Total Gym back when they first came out and thought it was the greatest piece of equipment. After years of not having one, and a desperate need to work out again, I purchase a new one and don't know what Ive ever done without it as it is a TOTAL GYM, providing a Total Workout without leaving my home and using it at my convenience.I purchased a new one, due to mental well being but am seeing results physically and loving it even more. And now with the new attachment for the abs... what else will they think of. It's just an awesome, all over gret piece of equipment.
Pros: Strengthens, Quiet Operation, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Easy Storage, Sturdy, Comfortable

Sturdy enough to last a lifetime

The only area we have big enough for this is the living room. So we get to watch TV & the DVD's included while using it. I love the easy height adjustment. Although it folds up easy enough to stuff in a closet, we want to keep it available for daily use. I can't find anything negative to describe it.
Pros: Comfortable, Quiet Operation, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Sturdy, We use it not store it, Strengthens

so far i have lost 5 pounds in just 2 weeks by only doing the start up work out. i am overweight and badly out of shape with all the physical illness that goes with it. i was looking for something i could start at my level and increase, and something my 16y/o daughter could use as well.so far we love it and are using it almost daily.

Better then going to the gym

I am using the Total Gym to get back into Hockey shape and it is amazing! I am noticing results and more energy after only 2 weeks of working out.

my husband and I both use it 3-4 x weekly and are finding it incredibly energizing and exercising is actually fun. We are both in our mid 50's and after using this product for only a month, are feeling really good about our improved fitness and energy levels.

Shape up and slim down

I live in an RV and space it tight. I am able to use the total gym and put it away. Time is also limited and with the total gym 6-8 minute/6 day workouts even I have time for that. I have been using the total gym every week-do not always have time to use it every day and I am starting to see and feel results and I have only had it a few weeks. Just think if I did have more time I would have had more results. The board slides off track a bit too easily for my liking..but it is not a safety concern because it doesn't fall off the rails. The DVD's are very useful, it is like having a trainer in your home, no gym fees, and you can workout on your own time and in your own home..win win situation! DVD's would be better if the trainer allowed just a little more time to add and remove attachments in the workout-I just hit the pause button..but the benefits are well worth the pause!!

Cons: Board comes off too easy, Can be noisy

I like to go to the gym with my work out partner. But when I work out alone and am crunched for time, this is a GREAT solution. I'm also a single mother so this allows me a great workout and I don't need to leave the house. I live in an apartment and this sets up nicely in my living room, then stores easily in my coat closet. The only thing, don't let your hair hang over the top! It gets stuck in the pully! I have to "bun" my hair as my pony tail kept getting caught when I do exercises on my back. Already seeing definition and weight loss results! Love it!!
