I use the XLS to help streghten my back and to help tone up. The short time that I have had my XLS I have really felt the difference and I am so glad that I had taken the step and ordered my total gym it is the best money that I have invested. I found out when I first started that I had weak arms and had trouble doing some of the excerise but I did not give up, one day I will get up there and be able to do it without problems.

Total gym rocks but doesn't wobble

Much sturdier than my husband the cynic and workout addict expected when I ordered it; he is a definite fan now! Overall easy to set up but directions for attachments are not necessarily easy to locate; we were impatient to start using the Total Gym, so might have overlooked them the first look. I'm a casual exerciser who had a hip replacement last year and squats are a necessity. This is the only home equipment we found that actually lets me do those, and comfortably, and it lets me increase the resistance with a simple step. I'm still waiting for my arms to tone but what takes years to develop isn't going to disappear in a few weeks .... unless we're talking about muscle that isn't worked regularly! All in all, two very satisfied customers in this household, thank you!!!

I always HATED to exercise. I would avoid it like the plague actually. Years of doing this had morphed my body into a creature which would cause cringing when seen in a bathing suit!! Since my total gym arrived, I have learned that exercise is not only pretty painless, but actually fun!! I look forward to coming home from work and working out with it!! I have more energy now, have dropped almost two pant sizes, and my blood pressure is back within normal range! Thank you so much for giving me my life back!!

It is the only workout equipment that I have owned where I can target a specific area to work on for the day.Total gym was a great name for it, because it does just that.You get a total all over body workout.

Great for Knee Rehab

I just had knee replacement surgery and needed something to assist me in rehab. With the Total Gym XLS, I am able to replicate the same exercises that are done at the physical therapist office. I've also incorporated an upper body routine for total body fitness. It is a great piece of equipment
