I have the luxury of being able to leave mine set up which makes it easier for me to use it everyday. I have been using it for approx 6 weeks now for only 10 - 15 mins a day and I can see results and so can my husband and friends...I LOVE IT! The Total Gym absolutely works!

I NEVER work out. I have bad knees & bad shoulders. My husband has bad knees and a back problem. The Total Gym is EASY to use - there is absolutely no stress or pain in doing the exercises. We both felt the muscles we didn't even know we had! On days that I feel like my muscles are too tight to do a work out I can at least do the stretching exercises listed and it really helps.
Pros: Simple, Strengthens, Easy To Set Up, Comfortable, Sturdy, Easy Storage, Easy To Use, Quiet Operation
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have never liked excercising indoors. I have always been a runner, hiker, biker and outdoors type of person. Over the years, indoor fitness equipment purchased for use during bad weather was used only a few months and then was sold. I became quickly bored with the equipment, which didn't really tone my body effectively and too much time was spent on excercising that was repetitious and not fun. I use the Total Gym for toning and general conditioning. I am retired now and find I need to do more resistance and stretching excercises to keep from turning into flab and to keep joints moving fluidly. Although I don't have a problem with excess weight, I do not want my muscles to atrophy or my bones to lose density. I find the Total Gym perfect for me. It's very aasy to use and I don't have to spend a lot of time on it for my purposes. I like that I can follow along on with the DVD and don't have to think about the excercises or what to do. I began to see results almost immediately - probably because of muscle memory and addressing the right areas. I like that several areas can be worked at once, eliminating a long time with workouts. It is one of the best buys I have ever made. Thank you! p.s. Although I did have some problems in setting up the equipment originally - I did not have a DVD player at the time and found the written instructions incomplete and a little confusing.
