Great piece of equipment

Although I checked casual, there was a time I could be considered a "Gym Rat". With the ease of working out on the Total Gym, I can see myself becoming that "Gym Rat" once again and being in the great shape I was then. I really like the cards and the workout schedule as well as the videos.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Strengthens, Comfortable, Easy To Use, Sturdy

All around it is an excellent product and after 3 weeks I am already recognizing improvement. It offers an excellent range of motion with the freedom to focus on muscle groups in a variety of effective ways. One slight issue that seems to be troublesome is the plastic strap for the safety bolt. Due to the memory of this strap, I find that it offen pulls the bolt out and so I then worry about whether it is engaged properly. It may be better to use a metal chain which would not have any memory. Also the case for the cards arrived with a crack in the plastic. It probably will break at some point in time.

We did not have weight to lose, but fitness to improve. We both feel this is being accomplished with this system. I have been using the easy-to-follow Starter Program while my husband has adapted his routine with his own exercises. Both are working great. We were hesitant to buy from an infomercial and the internet, but we are extremely satisfied with this equipment.

This is our second Total Gym. We wore out one in about 20 years. My husband would not be with out one. I just started using the total gym. I am well pleased.

Love the Total Gym. Ease of use allows me to workout before leaving for work in the morning! It truely works you out all over and I feel trim and fit for 45!

Makes strength training enjoyable

We already own a universal gym that we rarely used because it only fits in the garage and is cumbersome. Purchased the Total Gym because the ads made it look easier and more enjoyable to use. We set it up on Christmas day and everything we saw and read were true. It fits perfectly in our gym room inside the house and my husband and I use it almost every day as part of our triathlon training program.
