It Works Because It's Right for Me

It has proven to be everything it's advertised to be. It allows me & spouse to work at the level we need and gradually increase as our strength and stamina improve. As one who hasn't done much resistance trsining in recent years, the TG is precisely the type of equipment I need. It isn't a single exercise machine, a bulky weight machine nor some type of special gizmo. It simply lets me work on all muscle groups at my pace and I see results. Thanks

Enticement to exercise!

At 65 I needed that extra boost to get me to exercise. Since I received my Total Gym things have begun to change. I was surprised to find out how good it felt to stretch and strenghen my arm and leg muscles. Now I feel enticed to workout just a little longer or try out a different exercise. I love the flexabilty of exercises this machine offers. It is a little big but the enticement and freedom the Total Gym give me in my home is worth it.
Pros: Easy To Use, Strengthens, Quiet Operation, Sturdy, Easy To Set Up, Comfortable
Cons: Bulky

Greatest Thing Since Peanut Butter!!

[...]What I like about it most is its versatility especially in comparison to tradition free weight training- Total gym allows you to do certain difficult exercises (like butterflies, TG calls them the iron cross)without having to worry about pulling your arm out of your socket like you do with free weights. You can also do the exercises with so many more angles and variations than you can do with free weights. Love the fact that just about all of the exercise groups still work your abs at the same time. The ab crunch attachment is wonderful and the squat board ( I've despised squats my whole life and always resisted them)makes squats a piece of cake ( or at least easier to do so you're more likely to be willing to do them)

The Best Fitness Machine I've Ever Used!

The Total Gym is the single greatest fitness machine I have ever had the privilege to use. I have only had mine for a couple of weeks and I already have my workout routine down. I love the fact that I don't have to stop in order to switch to a different exorcise. I get all the benefits of strength training AND a great cardio workout at the same time! It's awesome! Listing "cons" is difficult, the only thing I can say on that is, because it is a little heavy, having some way to grab it for movement while folded without it trying to slide open in your hands would be helpful. I just went ahead and set mine up permanently in my garage to avoid the "moving it around" problem. That said, I'm still not deterred at all,...I love mine!

Cons: Only a little heavy

I received my Total Gym, unpacked it and thought to myself "No way this thing will do what they claim!" WAS I WRONG!!! I have been using my Total Gym for a few weeks and have been losing weight and gaining muscle. I have gone from a 44" waist to a 36" waist, from a 3XL shirt to a Large shirt. THANKS TOTAL GYM!!!!!!!!!! I recomend Total Gym to everyone I meet who is looking to lose weight and tone up!

I HAVE ONLY USED THE MACHINE FOR AROUND 1 MONTH BUT CAN FEEL THE DIFFERENCE IN TONE AND TIGHTNESS OF THE MUSCLE. BEING A FORMER FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL AND BASEBALL IN TEXAS I CAN SEE WHERE THIS MACHINE COULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT ADDITION TO OUR OFF-SEASON AND IN-SEASON WORKOUT REGIMENS. I CAN ALSO SEE WHERE THIS TOOL WOULD BE OF GREAT BENEFIT TO A TEAM'S REHAB PROGRAMS. THE RANGE OF MOTION CAPABILITES AND THE EASE OF CHANGINE THE AMOUNT OF RESISTANCE WOULD BE A TRAINER'S DREAM. IF YOU HAVE NOT MARKETED THIS MACHINE WITH THE TRAINING ROOM IN MIND MAYBE YOU SHOULD.
