Very easy to use and takes up minimal space. Very smooth system but did notice indentation marks on the slide bars from pressure of added pieces. Have already suggested this equipment to a friend who then came over and tried it and since then has purchased her very own.Am in process of ordering the new piece, that just came out, for biking.
Pros: Easy To Use, Easy Storage, Quiet Operation, Strengthens, Easy To Set Up, Comfortable
Cons: Some indention on bars

Works alot of muscle groups and it stores great. But the pulley under the back board falls off too easily when you don't want it to. Also have trouble locating handles from a back position. Not particularly designed for tall people. Overall we are happy with our purchase and the benefits to date.

Cons: Uncomfortable, Hard To Use

Easy to fit a workout in. Can focus on a specific area or get a total body workout. Very versital!

I bought the Total Gym to lose baby weight and to assist me in achieving overall fitness and health. I try to use the Total Gym at least 4 days per week. I find that I feel more motivated to use it in relation to past used equipment. I feel a true overall workout when I am done. It has helped me build endurance at my own pace. I wish that there was an area somewhere around the top side to store additional equipment when not in use...other than that I am pleased and have no complaints. I have tried almost everything to achieve a successful workout in the past and none compare to the Total Gym.

I have not been able to use the gym as much as planned. I broke my wrist in two places on 11/8/09. I got this as a Christmas present for my wife and me. With my wrist feeling better, I used the gym once, the day after Christmas. My hand with the broken wrist has been numb ever since. I have scheduled an appointment to assess my nerve damage (possible carpal tunnel). I look forward to using the gym once my wrist is back to normal.

I love this thing! I love to workout and have not really had a lot of time to do so since I have had my kids. My home gym is very well equipped but I bought the Total Gym XLS to use down stairs and for a quick work out. I use it all the time! I feel like I get a well rounded workout. It's easy and comfortable. It does not strain the joints if you use it on the proper setting for your fitness level. I recommend this product for anyone who wants a quality full body workout. It's the best piece of equipment that I have ever bought.
