IT WORKS QUICKLY, AND SINCE I AM NOW ARTHRITIC I MUST TURN IT INTO AN ALMOST EVERYDAY EXERCISE MACHINE WHICH IS NO PROBLEM AT ALL.
Pros: Easy Storage, Easy To Use, Easy To Set Up, Comfortable, Sturdy, Quiet Operation, Strengthens

I like it for the range of motion & flexibility it gives me. Noticed noises, however, from the cable pins & the glideboard rails as the glideboard goes up & down. Only really using it for a few months. Just started using it seriously, though, this past month & really enjoy it. If your looking to keep fit or help yourself get fit, I would recommend the Total Gym.
Pros: Easy To Use, Easy To Set Up, Strengthens, Comfortable
Cons: Noisy Operation

Great Machine, good workout

I use my XlS about 3-4 times a week. I stick the starter workout now and this things really works. It is well constructed, and the programs they give you are well thought out. I have owned a Bowflex, and I like this thing much better though the bowflex is more appealing to the eye. You can get good strength training in all your major muscle groups with this thing in very little time. My workouts last about 15 or so minutes. They have an 8 minute workout which also works but you need to do that one daily which doesnt work for me because I travel. The point is they have many different for you to choose from or you can create your own with the cards they give you.

Cons: Bulky

I was a little skeptical about getting a good workout, but the next morning after my first workout, I was just as sore as I was when I used weights. Overtime, this will save me from having to pay yearly gym memberships and it is something that anyone at any age can use!

Honestly, how many products EXCEED YOUR EXPECTATIONS these days??? Well, the Total Gym XLS does just that - it is a finely crafted piece of equipment - soooo smooth and quiet. And so versatile too - the ease of transition from one exercise to another makes it super easy to use. I have recommended it to everyone I know! Thanks for making a truly superior product!

Excellent product, very challenging and variety of exercises. The only challenge is a beginner changing the wings and pulleys during the circuit training.

Drop Fat and Build Muscle

I have been using the Total Gym since late Dec. 2009. It has allowed me to do something I thought was impossible. My mid section is reducing and my upper body is much stronger. I know the Total Gym is working because for the firt time in many years, I was able to shovel snow from my driveway without becoming exhausted. My core strength is much better. I am extremely pleasesd with how the Total Gym is so easy to use and how effective it is. Keep up the good work, you have a terrific product.
