I'll gladly write my comments again. No matter how many days you offer to return the Total Gym, you're NOT getting it back! I've always gone to a gym (needed to be around other people for motiviation - dont like to workout, but it's a necessity). Lately the gym I attend has had poor customer service and poor upkeep on machines, so I didn't renew my membership. I happened to catch Chuck and Christy working out on the Total Gym and figured..'why not try it - what do I have to lose with 60 days to return it?' I get a better workout than I ever have on gym machinery. Due to health issues, I have a hard time making muscle - I can see the toning already with only about a month and a half use! I also include fast walking in my workout. Thanks for putting such a great product out there!

A nice compact home system

We almost returned this system because my wife is prone to sea sickness and the motion of the body on the sliding platform was causing her to get sick and stayed sick for hours. I managed to convince her to try sailor's ginger pills before exercising and that helped tremendously. After a week, she got accustomed to the motion and does not need the pills anymore. The system is not as easy to use as the typical machines you find in a gym, especially the Seated Chess Press exercise since you need to push from the armpit position out. My wife often forgets and take her feet off the floor with the handles at her waist position. She almost injured her wrists one time. Now after a month, she is getting the hang of it and can use the system without me watching over her. However, she is still not strong enough to lift the slider to the top position #6 which is the position we like to do the final Toe Touch Stretch. Setting up and closing up the system is a cinch for me as well as easy looking in the video. But it is still a challenge for my wife. The hardest part for her is the folding and unfolding of the system and getting the pulley and cable squared away. So, we ended up leaving the system set up all the time and have to put up with it in our way except when we have guests. Overall, we liked the system and we are using it every day. The key advantage of the system is the short amount of time it takes to finish all the exercises. It is easy to spend the 20 minutes before jumping into the shower each day.

I had total knee surgery almost 3yrs ago, it is very useful in bending my knees while using the equipment. This one piece of equipment is equivalent to three different ones I used in therapy. My son a US Marine even use the Total Gym at least 4 days a week. Right now I can't think about what isn't great. I love it.

This product has been a great help with my physical therapy. I can do at home what the therapist was having me do at the gym. My children have also started using it and love it.

We have limited space, so we must store it between workouts. It is awkward to move up/down steps. It could use some handles and better rollers. It would also be nice to have hooks for the grips between exercises.

Total workout=Total Gym

The Total Gym is everything they say on TV. My children are using the Total Gym, it is that easy to use. I work out 5 days a week for about 20 minutes. I love it because I do not have to go out of my home to get a workout from a gym. It is very easy to set up and fold up and put away. Anyone who is looking for something that will work to firm and tighten your thighs, stomach area and arms needs to get the Total Gym.

My husband and I really enjoy working out on the Total Gym. We try to exercise every day but often things come up that make that impossible. With the Total Gym, you can pick up a missed day with no problem.
