It really is just that easy!

The product is really just as easy as the add says it is. I have never been able to dedicate myself to an exercise program but this machine makes me want to exercise every day. The only negative that I can find is that right now the many extra components are a bit overwhelming but I am sure once I figure out how to use all of them it will be better. I like to continue to work out without having to figure out how to change parts to do another workout. Overall it is a great machine!

Cons: To many components

I am currently using the product far less than I would like to. I use it about 5-10 minutes per day 2-3 times per week, focusing on building upper body and core strength. Even with the low amount of usage I am gaining muscle definition where I never had any before. That would be 38 years without bicep, tricep, and forearm definition, and now thanks to the Total Gym that has changed! If I get these results now, I cannot wait to get into a regular exercise routine. Aside from the fantastic results, I am wonderfully surprised at the build quality. This is a SOLID unit that seems as though it will last several lifetimes. The engineering that went into it has been very well thought out. There has not been one instance where I thought, "This is nice, but I wish they would have thought to..." It is all there and it is all done very well. My only negative is that it is much larger (longer) than I expected it to be. To be fair, it really needs to be as long as it to get a good range of motion in some of the exercises. So this is not really a complaint, just an observation. It does fold up neatly for storage, but you do need some space to use it to its fullest. That being said, it is still way more compact than anything else I have seen. I am extremely happy and cannot believe I waited as long as I did to get the Total Gym. I wish I would have purchased one years ago.

im a stay at home mom of 3 5 and under, hard to find time for working out, but this makes it so much easier! i love how i can just fold it up and lean it against a wall or push it under the bed.

Use at least 5 times a week, mix in with walking on treadmill. The pull up bar has a defect, the plastic insert has come loose on one side

"Why did I wait so long?"

I use this product to get a good cardio workout, for strength training, and for weight loss. I have noticed that I am loosing in inches and I am able get rid of the lumps and bumps around my waist and everywhere else. I now look forward to my workouts and I am able to workout right in my home and by doing so, I am saving hundreds of dollars a year by not having to pay membership fees at the local fitness facilities. I love my total gym and would advice any and everyone to purchase one.

I use the XLS at least five days a week and enjoy every minute. I have commuted by bike for many years and spend a lot of my off work hours in the mountains climbing or on the water in a kayak. The XLS has really helped to trim the old body up and keep my activities enjoyable. After just over a month of use I am seeing the results and looking forward to more improvements.

[...] This machine does it all. The DVD's are fantastic, step by step instruction. I got rid of all other equipment. My son is doing his strength training to go in to the military on the Total Gym and I am getting fit. As soon as I can, am getting one for my son in law & daughter!
