I have owned other excercise systems but I keep coming back to the Total Gym. It is so easy to switch from one exercise to another. It fits in perfectly with my busy lifestyle, allowing for quick and efficient workouts.

I try to use the gym 6 days a week. My typical workout last over an hour, but I'm also doing the exercises very slowly as compared to the 6-8 min workout tape. It's hard to get strength on all the exercises so that I can move up a level on all the exercises and the legs excercises are a joke for me because my legs are much stronger than what the machine offers.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Sturdy
Cons: Bulky

I like the DVDs to follow along with while I workout. If they had more, I'd buy them. I rotate thru the DVD workouts to keep it interesting, even tho most do the same exercises with slight variations in technique and tempo. When you first start out, keep the pause button at the ready. But once you get used to transitioning and hooking up the attachments, it's easy to keep up. Definitely part of my regular workout routine - centered more around some weight loss and some strength gain.

Excited when received this product. It was easy to set up and use. The video is very helpful and easy to use while performing the exercises. It is a great stress reliever and exerciser. Feel great after using the gym. It is easy to change the different exercise options. When first starting out on the lowest level some of the exercises are difficult because too low. It would be helpful if in the video they suggested a good level for beginners that would still allow you to do the exercise.

The Total Gym is easy to use and provides a great range of difficulty levels. The videos are helpful in getting you started, while resistance levels provide plenty of opportunity to get the results you are looking for. It's easy to move from one exercise to another so it's enjoyable to use. Following joint surgery, I used the machine to strengthen leg muscles. It's just as effective for upper body. I'm very pleased and would purchase it again.
