I use the Total Gym everyday and this is the first piece of equipment I can honestly say that about. It's easy to use and comes with a whole set of cards and workout options. It really is the best workout gym that you will actually use.

Better than advertised

Stronger Left shoulder discomfort almost completely gone 1 inch off waist line and working on small handles I alternate the basic cycle of exercises time three reps with use of my elliptical on alternate days

I really liked that the product was pretty much fully assembled. Our family has used it on a daily basis--which has helped us overall in strengh training; there isn't anything wrong with the product other than at times I wish we had purchased two of them!

"My stairway to Health Restoration!"

I'm 72 and will be 73 come December 04, 2009. My health was going downhill and I retired 3 months ago and have dedicated the next 2 years to get back in shape. I bought the Total Gym XLS about 3 months ago and started slowly. I found that I could exercise every morning without straining. Because of my new found strength I started taking long walks every morning right after I use the the Total Gym. My purpose in buying the Total Gym was to recondition my health over a period of 2 years but just after 3 months I lost 3 inches on my waist, i.e. from size 36 to 33 and I have lost 8 lbs. from 160 to 152. I really did not expect all these because I just wanted to keep fit again. I'm only 5'7". Within two years, I am certain I'll be in the best shape of my life. I have also been eating more balanced meals-adding more vegetables and fruits and fish. I also found that it is less expensive compared to eating fast foods before because of feeling tired all the time. I am very thankful that I got the Total Gym. I recently joined a Community Center and there are lots of people who are also trying to get back in shape. My goal is to buy another Total Gym and donate it as my Christmas gift to them this coming December 25th,2009. I sincerely believe that the Total Gym will also help many get fit again. Lives up to expectations

No warm up exercises, you just jump in. After pilates my posture is so wonderful. After fist use you can tell a difference in how your body feels. Forget the gym membership and all the time wasted traveling to and from and waiting for machines to be free for use.
