Total Body Fitness At Any Age

As a 65 yr. old former athelete and avid golfer the Total Gym is the perfect conditioning system. I especially like the easy storage, great strength and flexablity that can be attained by as few as three 20 minute workouts a week.

I use my TotalGym every other day or at least 3 times a week and am seeing a definate increase in my posture and general over all strength. It's much easier for me than free weights and I like the variety of exercises I can try if I get bored or want a change.

Great For Shoulder Rehab

I had a massive rotary cuff tear repaired last September. After being released from formal rehab in December; I tried various excersise equipment to regain my strength without causing any damage to the surgical repair. I couldn't have found anything better than the total gym. Since every exercise stretches the muscles, I don't have to worry about reinjuring myself. I am stronger than I was before the injury and my surgeon is amazed with my progress. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, especially those coming off surgery rehab. Thanks for a great product.

Very sturdy

I bought this for a family member who weighs about 330 pounds. It took him about a week to be able to get on and off without help. He can't do it without help in adjusting the machine but can exercise on it for about 15-20 minutes which is 15-20 minutes more than he ever did before! It is very sturdy and he is not afraid that it will break. He is able to do basic exercises when shown how (by me) - I'm able to follow the exercises on the DVDs. I like the fact that the one DVD has several short segments. Each segment features a different add-on. We store the machine in an upright position up against the wall - very convenient. But it is hard to push it into place because we have it on a rug. We always have think hard about how to set it up, especially if we skip a few days. I would recommend this model for heavy people with physical limitations if they have a spotter. I'd recommend it for heavy people who are fit because the board is wider so it's more comfortable. It's not a machine that we'll get bored with because there's always more exercises to learn.

If you are self motivated you can reach any level desired with the Total Gym. You just have to be willing to do the work.
