Instead of just sitting at home in the evenings i sit on my total gym and randomly go through exercise sequences while watching my favorite TV. Want to get another so I can sit with my wife so we do not have to trade off.

I absolutely love my Total Gym! It's so easy to use, so simple to move from one exercise to the next, it's fun, it's motivating, and it's so effective. It works every area of your body. And whether I have an hour to spend or just 10 minutes, I feel the effects and know I am either improving or maintaining. As I get more accustomed to using my Total Gym, I'm able to spend more time on it and less time using my treadmill for my cardio. I've been so content with all the exercises I've learned already, that I haven't yet fully tapped into all that it's capable of, which is exciting to know that there's more to come. I look forward to using my Total Gym every day! I've not had the availability to use weights in my workouts for over a year, with the exception of hand-weights, but I never was motivated to use them. Although I haven't experienced a weight loss at this stage, I'm definitely seeing and feeling everything firm up! I just feel so much better since I ordered my Total Gym. I choose to work out first thing every morning, and I don't have to worry about how I look, what I'm wearing, there're no crowds, no traffic, I can shower when I'm done and am ready to go about my day. I ordered my Total Gym right as I started going to a chiropractor for the very first time in my life. For many months I was having bad neck and back pain. Of course a chiropractor recommends low impact when exercising, which is perfect with the Total Gym. I'm still wrestling with the neck pain, but my back pain has disappeared. I'm strengthening my core and improving my balance. I love exercising with weight (or shall I say resistance), love the results, and it's all so simple, and all in one piece of equipment. It's amazing! It's very professionally made. If I were ever to try and sell anything in my life, this is one product I would be proud to stand behind and brag on. It really sells itself...it's that good.

This thing takes a beating

My TotalGym is 7 years old. I have beaten the thing up over the years and it still hangs tough. I have moved 4 times, unfolded it hundreds of times, jumped on it and currently train with it daily - and the thing is still ticking strong.

I just don't have anything bad to say about the total gym XLS. It does so much, no chance to get bored! the pilates is better than I thought it would be, the workout DVD's give good "no braiiner" routines, you can customize your own, work any area, FAST, it's well built, easy to change att., folds up out of the way, and my husband and I are already losing weight. No complaints. It may cost a pretty penny, but you get every cent's worth. No regrets, months after purchase.

This is a great peice of equipment. I ordered one about 5 years ago, because I was in an accident & suffered a neck injury. I don't drive, so I bought the Total Gym for physical therapy to save money. It works great. It's great for strengthing those back muscles that one doesn't usually use unless you're a gymnist or tennis player. I recommend this for everyone. I'm pushing 50 & I'm in better shape than I was in my 30s. I'm going to be in my 90s still using this thing.

I use it in little 5 and 10 minute increments morning, evening, and throughout the day targeting a particular muscle group each day.
