Not what you would expect

I am still trying out all the different exercises that can be done, so far so good, I can feel my body changing and my muscles still feel it, which I did not think would happen. The only problem is I am on level 4 so I only have 1 more position, It should come with the attachment to accept weights, which I will have to order.
Pros: Strengthens, Quiet Operation, Comfortable, Easy Storage, Easy To Use, Sturdy
Cons: Hard To Set Up

I use the Total Gym regularly. It is the perfect complement to and cross-trainer with other physical pursuits like Yoga, cycling, xc skiing and hiking.

I like the total gym but I do find the set up from one level to the other a bother as the seat portion is heavy and falls down quickly if you are not prepared for it.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Use, Strengthens, Quiet Operation

My wife and I absolutely love our Total Gym XLS. Because of the easy of use and the ability to move from exercise to exercise, we have no problem getting motivated to workout. Since using the Total Gym and following a proper diet, I have been able to lose 20 lbs. in two months! Best investment we have made! The only negative is at 100 lbs. it's difficult for my wife to move and store away. If it were on rollers, that would make it easier for her.

Been using my gym for 6 weeks now. Its the first thing I do in the morning. I never had definition in my arms before and can't believe the difference in just a few weeks. I love doing situps on the gym, much more comfortable than on the floor. This machine really does work every part of the body. Love it!

My Wife and I have been using it as a supplement to cycling and have found great improvements in upper body strength, especially arms and back. It is somewhat difficult for my wife to set it up alone because of it's bulkyness, but we are still impressed by it's many exersize positions. I believe I finally found a piece of exersize equipment that may stay in the house and be utilized rather than making a quick exit to the garage for storage, I have enough "Old Exersize" equipment in there already. Thanks for the time spent engineering.
