I use the Total Gym around 4 times a week for an average of 30 to 40 minutes depending on what my workout plan is for the day. It's easy to set up and get started quickly into the workout. The video's help out with the setup and with different workouts to try. Only minor issue is sometimes the cable becomes disengaged when folding up for storage but could be experience with storing it since I generally keep it opened up for immediate use.

The very first time I used my total gym I loved it. The quiet gliding movements were smoothe and easy. And do not let the size fool you, it is very sturdy. I use the total gym for weight loss and as an outlet for stress. I only wish I had the room to keep it in the ready to use position instead of having to set it up for every use. To sum it all up the total gym is totally satisfying!

I have purchased alot of exercise equipment in the past and lost interest quickly. The Total Gyn is the first piece of equipment that I feel confident about and has begun to see true and lasting results. I workout out a minimum of 5 day a week between 5-6 am. I am able to switch between exercise routines smoothly and with ease. Each exercise position I make provides me with multiple levels of results.

I have already made up my own routine. My kids love to 'get bigger muscles' with the Total Gym--they ask to use it all the time. I love that you can change it up whenever you want. Things that aren't so great: The card holder. It doesn't store easily--the cards are loose and fall out, the pegged bottom make it so you can't stand it upright. I don't even bother to put it on because I have to take it off everyday and I don't look at the cards everyday. I'm sure you can't change the pulleys, but I noticed that they get under the gym when you first fold the tree down (which puts stess on the bolts that hold them on) and then, they get sandwiched when you complete the fold... I move them now, but I didn't realize that I should look for that until I banged them around a few times.
Pros: Kid friendly, VERSATILE

I use it 3 to 4 times a week, I tried all the exercises and picked out my favorite ones and the ones that would target the areas I wanted to work on and I felt a difference after my first workout! Great stretch also makes you feel great! I have so many excercises to choose from I will never get bored!

I try to use my total gym everyday if not then every other day. I got it to help me loose weight I had been walking on a treadmill everyday for a year with little results. I got the total gym and Im down 20 pounds in 6 weeks!!!! It easy to use and does not feel like exercise and my whole family is using it even my 13 year old. WE LOVE IT!!! My husband is currently laid off and the low monthly payments make it affordable for us. My only problem is space and its a little bigger than I thought its really long, but I would get rid of furniture to keep it if I had to. It was the best investment ever!!!!!
