Ordered a month ago. Impressed with the different exercises for muscle groups and ease to switch exercises. Have seen definite results. Gave it only 3 stars as the top if the glide board developed 2 cracks/rips in the covering also doesn't slide down smoothly all the time, catches on a piece of the framework. Could possibly be how I am positioning myself? I weigh 220lbs.

Bought this almost month ago. It says no assembly needed, don't believe it. You may not need tools but you have to constantly unhook this part to attach next part then do it all again. The instructions for this are vague and confusing. In almost a month I still haven't been able to figure out how to utilize the arm pulleys, which are very important to what I'm trying to accomplish.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the Total Gym about a month ago and am enjoying exploring all of its features. The Total Gym comes assembled with wonderful instructional DVDs for taking it out of the box and getting started (it was a bit hard for me to get it upstairs- it is heavy- in a good way). I love the training deck and am enjoying crafting a workout tailored to my own fitness challenges. Easy to use and I must say it is quite fun.

I bought 2 of these and have been using one since delivery. The other is for my 31 yr. old who has a gym membership but has a busy life. Speaking for my wife and I, we have 7 stations in our basement of good equipment and this takes the place of 5. It's great to free up some room because it was getting very tight with the rest of the machines. We are now doing exercises that we could have but weren't doing because of the card deck and wall guide. A couple areas for improvement are the for one, the cable handle connections which have to be readjusted quite frequently. The other is cable interference with the attachments towards the top of the sled slide. Overall, I give this one a thumbs up if you want to work out and have limited space and need the convenience of an in-home gym machine
