It's Harder than it Looks

I love this product. I find it cumbersome to fold up and put away. It does not slide as easily as it does in the commercial. It actually scratches my floors. I use it on carpet and have to move it across a wood floor.

One of the greatest drawbacks with any exercise program is keeping motivated. Your routine becomes just that, a routine...boring. There are so many different possible combinations to use with the Total Gym, I am actually excited to see, not only how I can challenge myself physically, but mentally as well. By coming up with such diverse programs I stay motivated. I look forward to my workouts and I have fun with it. THAT is a winning combination.

I LOVE THIS MACHINE

I absolutely love my TotalGym and use it every day. In 6 weeks time, I have lost 7 pounds, which doesn't sound like much until you read between the lines: 1) 6.5% Body Fat REDUCTION; 2) a GAIN of 7# muscle mass; 3) The cellulite is GONE; and 4) I FEEL and LOOK healthier than I have in 3 years. These results are amazing considering that I have Systemic Lupus. I was worried about "bulking up". But, with the TotalGym, I use the easy start program cards and rotate between the "Long & Lean" options and the "6-8 Minute" program every other day. In this manner, I have a combination of Pilates-style training and strength/core training....the BEST part is that I NEVER get bored with the program since I have a total of 8 different workouts that are alternated every day. TotalGym has given me my life back without going to the gym and "sharing" equipment with other people---Not to mention the savings of about $800/year in memberships. The TotalGym pays for itself within the first year after you add the membership costs, travel/gas costs, and most importantly --- MY TIME..... I am back to enjoying the outdoor sports that I love: alpine skiing, snowshoe treks, and hiking. All thanks to TotalGym. This WORKS......

I try to use my Total Gym every day to every other day varying the routine. Never becomes boring and, if I've had a "bad" day, easily adjustable to make my workout still effective.

I like the leg squats the best

I like the exercises. However, I would like to have a small poster or handout on the exercises that were on the Start-up video. The cards are a pain to use and the poster you sent also is hard to use. By hard I mean slow to use which slows down my work-out. Could you make one with the exercises they gave exmaples of. My tape broke.

Quality of Life Improvement

My wife, 13 and 11 year old sons, 9 year old daughter and I use the Total Gym six days per week each. It works for us because it is quick to use, can be done alone since you don't need a spotter, and doesn't make us feel exhausted once we have finished. It also appears to be well constructed and durable.
