this is a life changing gym

i have not found anything about the gym that i do not like. this is a wondefull product. my family and myself love it. it is easy to use, and does not take all day to set up.

I would like to see clips to secure the handles for storage. And a bag? or container for the attachments especially for the smaller pins.

The "real" thing makes a real difference

The XLS system has been incredible. I can not believe how smooth this machine is. What I love about the Total Gym is that I am able to get previously injured muscles, stretched out. I am able to get to them. I have alot of scar tissue and trigger points in my back....alot. I have told myself that I am going to get through them and the Total Gym has allowed me to work out at a level that I can handle, but more importantly, get stretched out. I use to work out 5-6 days a week years and years ago it seems. I think that I will be able to get back to my previous body structure with the help of the Total Gym. Thank you for having such a great product that is so versitile and perfect for my apartment. The only thing that I find difficult with the Total Gym is moving it. I recently moved and when we tried to move it out to the truck, a piece broke off because it slides around so much. They make it look much easier to put away and store on tv. I don't find it easy to move. Other than that....I absolutely love it.
Pros: Comfortable, Extremely smooth, Easy Storage, Great stretching
Cons: Hard to transport

The 1st Total Gym per 65yr Female

The one I used was barrowed and missing some accessory parts and instructions. However, I was able to loose weight and tone even without these items. Sets and adjustments easy and light weight and quiet and smooth. You use your own body weight as leverage and my muscles became strong and elongated. The choice not to bulkup is up to the user. Cardiovascular; my blood pressure improved and my activity level and endurance improved throughout day. The worse part was that the barrowed product was missing instructions and accessories. I am therefore buying one of my own and look forward to using the new improved lighter in weight model with improved storage options. I am making a cover for the model on arrival as I am a RV-fulltimer and have an outdoor screened room for exercise. The cover will avoid drawing dampness from the air and concrete.
Pros: Space Saving, Easy To Use, Sturdy, Comfortable, Quiet Operation, Strengthens
Cons: Hard To Set Up

Working up a sweat

Everything is good on XLS. I must admit that gripping your hands on the sliding board near the middle of the rail joint can peel your finger knuckles. And placing your bottom too far towards the down side of the board will cause the board's front wheels to flip up.

Love the Total Gym

I like the Total Gym, I do not have to go to the gym and wait for the equipment. I can exercise on my own time and don't have to travel to the Gym. I don't have to worry about wiping down the equipment before I use it, although I do clean the it. In the long run it pays for itself within months. I love it! It is sturdy enough that my husband can use it. He is 6'5" and about 275lbs.
