I wondered if I would really use it and the answer is YES! It is safe & user friendly whether you are out of shape and or you are an athlete. The exercise programs, cards and videos allow you to design and advance your work out based on your body needs and what works best for you. The movements isolate your muscle sets so well even if you don't think you are working hard, you can tell the next day. I have been working out for 6 weeks now and I can really see a difference. It focuses on improving your core muscle strength. Something I needed greatly. My husband noticed my posture was better the second week. Without hesitation I recommend the Total Gym. It give you a quality work out that is safe, effective and fun. No matter your age or physical ability.

Good for Rehab

I bought the Total Gym for my husband after his ruptured disk surgery. He had lost significant strength in his right triceps. He is gaining back that strength by using the total gym. In addition, his doctor told him that jogging would not be a good form of exercise for him anymore because of the repetitive pounding. The total gym provides a good workout with a smooth and fluid motion. I use it for overall conditioning on days I don't make it to the gym.

Cons: Bulky

I enjoy Total Gym because it is easy to use and it's a full package. Once you have completed your exercise you can easily store it away. I was a little skeptical at the beginning but when I started using Total Gym, I was surprised and now convince it can help me shed the excess pounds since it works all part of your body. I know it want happen over night but it is a start since I now have Total Gym.

I use the product for strenghth training, and because I run alot, it helps me cross train to give my legs a break. I love the quiet, smooth ride and the fact that I get a quality workout in a short amount of time.
