i was completely surprised by the extent of additional material that helped me design the perfect workout for my needs. i love the cards that allow me to concentrate on the areas that i need to and provide enough variations that i can do a different workout everyday and not get bored.

Me and my daughter take tkd together. since my shoulder surgerys i had to fine something easier on my body but still challenging. Total gym has been it for me. My daughter is 14 and she loves it also. It works great for the want to be martial artist.

I use the Total Gym 4-5 times a week, half hour each time. I do rotate my work-outs so not to get bored. I enjoy being able to do alot without hurting my back. Its been almost six weeks, and I've lost almost 10 inches, and dropped 8 pounds. I have a home business so its hard to leave it up during the day. I'm waiting for summer so I can put it out in my green room, and leave it there for several months. I have always been a speed walker, but do to my business I needed something in my home. The Total Gym does that and more. I have recommeded this to several friends.

I just love it! What I like best about the TotalGym is that I think it will grow with my fitness level and keep me from getting bored with my workout. I especially like the Pilates in addition to the standard workout exercises. Variety and ease-of-use are key for me, also! At this point in my life (over 40, mom, and entrepreneur) I've only been an occasional exerciser, even though I used to be a competitive athlete. I've had the TotalGym for about a month and enjoy that I can do whatever kind of workout I'm in the mood for. One negative (definitely not a deal-breaker) is that I'd add a safety clamp to the seat. As a newbie, it seemed like it was solidly connected but when I pulled on it to lift the TotalGym the seat came off and the TotalGym landed on my toes. Bottom line for now -- lift the TotalGym with the side that does not have the seat on it and there will be no problem.

We have had a couple of parts that have needed to be replaced (we've had the gym for about a month), but overall, we're very happy with it!

WOW! My one regret is that I didn't take a before picture. Started working out 2 days after I received the package (11/27/08).I was 6'3" and 252 lbs and going up very quickly. I needed something that afforded me an opportunity to workout when I had a few minutes. This did that!!! Lost 20lbs and completely changed my body.I would recomend it to anyone....
