The best product I ever purchased

I am a firefighter and this product helps me with my upper body strength. I love how you can switch from one exercise to the next with ease. My cardio had increased as well. I love everything about the total gym. No cons here.
Pros: Easy To Use, Sturdy, Comfortable, Strengthens, Quiet Operation
Cons: Bulky

I like that I can do most of my routine without having to get up. I work long days and I've got to admitt alittle lazy and so its perfect for me because its right there and I can work everything.

For the most part I am very pleased with Total Gym. My son has worked out every single day and I have worked out occasionly. I have one concern that I am dissatisfied with. During set up, my cable got lodged in a small place of the bench. When fully extending the bench if was very hard to reomve the cable. The cable became kinked and was damaged during the set up. It does work, however, sometimes you can fill the kink in the cable. I haven't called to place a complaint because I am unsure if there was something I could have done to prevent this mistake. If it is something that can be replaced please notify me.

I love the 8 minute workouts and do them 6 days a week. There really is no excuss to not exercise. It is so easy.

I use this product for strengthening about 3 times per week outside of my regular cardio workouts daily and I love it.

This is the second Total Gym I have owned and the XLS is more sustantial and studier than the first. There is something really neat about using my own body weight as resistance. The ride up and down the incline adds to the experience and makes the whole process more fun. This XLS is easy to adjust. I added the Cyclo trainer for a cardio workout to alternate with strength days.

Husband's new love

I only have positives to say about this equipment. My husband who had a back operation last year and has done little since was surprised to get this for Christmas. Once he set it up and started to use it, he never stopped! He gets up every morning to use it and is really pleased with the results. He feels better, stronger and has less pains in his back due to strengthening his abs. Fabulous!

Best Equipment I ever owned and USE !

When I started using the Total Gym it felt like I wasn't getting the quick results I hoped for. My husband encouraged me and reminded me that it takes repetition over time to get results. I decided to work out EVERY day with the 6 minute programs provided with the CD that came with the Total Gym. After a week I wanted MORE so I did two 6 minute cycles. The female video instructor is great and very encouraging. I now do 3 women's programs each day. I've lost inches and can see my body is reshaping. My love handles are almost gone! My legs are more shapely and firm. I can FEEL my abs again and that tummy is much smaller. My husband has complimented me on my progress AND I'M NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT MY WEIGHT and APPEARANCE ANY MORE. I love what I've accomplished in only ONE MONTH. By summer I'll be in great shape for bathing suit weather. Yippie !! My results have caused a girl friend at work to start an exercise program. Life is GOOD !!
