I have been somewhat pleased with my recent purchase. Although some of the key areas I am looking for focus on do not seem to be addressed.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Easy Storage, Sturdy, Strengthens, Quiet Operation
Cons: Uncomfortable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Working the Total Gym into my other workouts has been so easy. The movement of the machine is very smooth and seems easy, yet the following day I can feel how much my muscles worked. The only complaint I have is that it is quite large even when folded, so I have trouble storing it in my small house. However, given the size of comparable machines, I don't mind the trouble of moving it around to keep it out of the way because it works so incredibly well! I love my Total Gym!!

Cons: not easy to store

I use the total gym about 4-5 times a wk. I find it easy to use and I get a good work out. I find it is user friendly and it doesn't take up alot of space. I can tell a difference in my arms and leg strength already. I feel as though I am getting a better workout on the total gym vs. a club gym because with this it is right in my home and I don't have to stand around waiting on some one else to finish w/ the equipment before I can use it. The workout is so much better b/c I am actually working out the whole time instead of waiting around. Great product for the money.

After having a total knee replacement 12 months ago, this has turned out to be the best trainer for my knees. I'm 58, a full time sales rep and also a volunteer fire fighter-EMT My wife had back surgery 7 months ago and at least states she needs to do more of these types of workouts on the TG. She's 56 and a registered nurse. I'm 58 and she's 56

Loving my Total Gym

I bought this for myself and my husband. I want to loose 55 pounds and tone up after loosing 60 pounds in the past year. In the last 3 1/2 weeks I have lost 2 1/2 inches in my waist and hips. I am using one of the DVD's that has a 18 step exercise program. I was concerned it would be difficult however the videos made it easy to learn to use the total gym. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to loose weight and tone up.

I work at home and tend not to like joining gyms. I love Total Gym because it allows me to exercise at home and within my schedule. I especially like the principle behind this machine, which is using one's own body weight and not straining on one's joints, such as running. It is easy to set up, easy to use and quiet. It is a pleasure working out on tis machine!
