Minor Drawbacks

1. Exercise cards are good but should indicate the muscles targeted in each exercise. This would allow focused and target specific exercises 2. There should be a locking pin to keep the sliding board in place in the extended position for use in therapy while setting up and preparing for exercise. 3. Foot plate is too small for use in therapy but sufficient for regular able bodied persons. It should be wider, extend to the floor and be rectangular in shape.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Sturdy, Easy Storage, Comfortable, Quiet Operation

it is heavier and takes up more space when being used-i will have to rearrange a room in my house before it will be used much-10+ hours a day make it difficult to clean a space for it
Pros: Comfortable, Quiet Operation
Cons: Hard To Set Up

I love my Total Gym!

I have purchased many machines over the years, including the bowflex, but they always ended up sitting without use after a day or two. Not so with my total gym! I use the total gym daily, it is so easy to use and the difference is amazing. I usually only have time for the 6-8 minute workout but i can tell such a difference, not only have i lost weight but i am toned up and feel better than i have in years. I have had 2 heart surgeries in less than 2 years and my doctor says that for the first time in 2 years my heart rate is good, my blood pressure is good and my outlook has improved and that with the changes i have made that i have improved my chances of a healthy life more than 75%!

Haven't followed the whole weekly exercises but it was ok, gaining some muscles though not in weight loss which is one of my goal.

MY WIFE AND I BOTH HAVE BEEN USING THE TOTAL GYM NOW FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS AND REALLY LIKE IT. THE ONE DOWNFALL I HAVE IS THE WHEELS DO NOT WORK VERY GOOD , SO IT MAKES IT HARD MOVE THE MACHINE AROUND. OTHER THAN THAT, IT WORKS GREAT.

I'm 67 and 5'2" it was heavy to lift and I have a small area in the loft of my home. You need a large area to leave this set up. But beautifully made and if I could leave up, I would have kept the equipment, But you need an area that is probably 8 ft long to leave up and I just don't have the space in my current home. I loved the ad and thought it would be perfect. I am sorry it didn't work out.

I got off to a slow start because I found it bulky and hard to get into the my house (heavy). I found there were attachments that had to be added for use and I didn't expect that.
