I bought this almost a month ago but haven't seen a lot of improvement since. I feel it would take a couple months to make or see a differants. I workout 20 to 35 minutes a night. Or every other night.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I started getting pain in my upper back. i was thinking it was because the total gym concentrates on the muscles around the back of the shoulder. i was on it every day for about 8 days. i decided to take a week off and see if i feel better and start again. if not, i may have to ship it back (bummer).

The total gym is a lot of fun. The male trainer on the included DVDs keeps the workout interesting and keeps me motivated. I saw a difference in my body after only a few workouts (more toned, but I haven't lost any weight yet. The reason for no weight loss is probably because I've owned for 3 months and used for only one month. For some reason I can't stay motivated. Planning to get back on track soon and stop making excuses.
Pros: Quiet, Easy To Set Up, Sturdy, Easy To Use, Strengthens, Comfortable

Not happy the more I work out the more I feel better this is ridiculous, I. Going to keep at it and see how it goes hopefully it will finally have some benefits instead of making me feel better and more flexible don't know if I'll ever find a machine that will be worth the money Lol
