Love the online videos, which make the workout time fly by! Adding and removing the various parts during the workout took some getting used to, but has quickly gotten progressively easier. The one item that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the bench has been extremely squeaky, since the first time I used it. (I'm currently at 130 lbs., so less than 1/2 of the top weight limit.) Wishing I would've gone with the model immediately higher than this one, as maybe the bench wouldn't make so much noise. :)

I've been using Total Gym for several years. This was an upgrade purchase. I love the Total Gym for its versatility and results. You can't get bored with this machine. There is so much that you can do, but it's never overwhelming or intimidating. You can do as much or as little as you need to, with the level of intensity that you desire. Now, there are even more accessible and motivating options for workouts with their Total Gym TV. You can stream the app on your smartphone or your Smart TV. It's a great addition to the charts that come with the machine. If you just want a low key "figure it out on your own" experience, you can just use the charts. I love it because if you have tough time starting out, you can essentially do a majority of your workout laying down until you build up your strength and stamina. Both my husband and I can custom tailor the machine. And, you can see a significant difference in a matter of workouts, because it's so easy to target specific problem areas. I could go on...it's simply a great machine!

I love my total gym xls. It's fun and and slowly losing weight. I have surgical repair elbow after breaking it years ago. I don't feel and pain and fatigue in my elbow when I use my total gym compared to pushing myself hard at a public gym using free weights and barbells.

After months away from the gym I started to put on weight. Imagine that...
I've used the Total Gym for just over two months and have lost weight (10 lbs) and fully toned my body. In fact, the results are far better than I achieved in the gym. My nightly sleep pattern has also improved. The investment was more than I anticipated at first but the results are more than with it. Unlike the recommended time frame, I use the XLS for 45-60 minutes a day and feel terrific. I'm 70 years old and have exercised all my life however, the trip back and forth to the local gym as been replaced by the XLS.

This product is excellent for training, or just trying to get back into shape for the experienced and non-experienced person.
I’m 62 years old and have trained and conditioned in gyms for over 45 years. I was amazed on how you can do every training exercise offered in Fitness Centers on the Total Gym. I love that I can get a workout in any time of day at Home with out the rush to drive to a Fitness Center.

Great for the Covid lockdown

I’m grateful that I had invested into this before the lockdown. I lost 17 pounds since March with this machine. I have seen positive changes in my body. I have just recently spotted changes in my chest. My biceps are getting bigger and my triceps are getting harder. The love handles are disappearing thanks to the Ab Crunch.
Changing your diet first is also the #1 thing to do and so is sticking with it. Just avoid a lot of added sugar in foods and beverages.
It amazes me how effective this machine is because it’s so small and easily compacted. I recently moved and my whole gym set along with all the Total Gym accessories, including the Cyclo Trainer, all for into my Chevy Trax!
Middle aged women are hitting on me because they think I’m in my 20s and they get surprised to find out that I’m 36, lol! Christie Brinkley is right that this equipment is a age reversal. lol

Excellent Work out equipment. Ability to raise and lower depending on your ability level. Able to work out all parts of my body. When watching the videos, sometimes they need to slow down when changing out the pulley attachment and attaching other pieces before they start the next work out routine. Highly recommend this for any and all ages.

Love my TG! I had one a few years ago but it was a used one. It was good but I just love this one. The bench is much better and I love how the pulley system is so much easier to remove and put back on.
