I think I'm just not strong enough now. Pulling my own body weight seems a lot harder than using machines or even free weights.

I do a workout 45 min 3xs per week with aerobics and strength training. I have been doing this for years. Ordered total gym hoping to reduce pain in my foot during workout. Since it wasn't helpful for me, I gave it to my son, who has used it, but some of the exercises make him motion sick, too

Cons: Hard To Set Up, Bulky, Hard To Use

This is my second total gym I still have my first and it works fine infact a friend of mine just bought it from me. The ease of operation is incredible easy to store takes up little room. Works every part of my body and I am 58 and in the best shape since I was 30. If you dont get this machine you are not thinking straight. So much easier to use them going to a gym now my wife enjoys working out at home no driving we have everything we use to pay for in the total gym. Take my advice and get a total gym and get in the best shape of your life and keep in the best shape of your life no matter what your age. Don the bus driver Fort myers Florida

you make it look so easy to use on TV but I find doing the DVD your jumping back and forth with the diffrent set ups, would rather do on complete set up then move on to another.

Misled by infomercials

The infomercials made it seem like it was very effective but I did not see any results. I was sore the first few times I used it (a good sign) but then wasn't feeling that I got all that great of a workout. It was either way too hard and I couldn't move at all or it was way too easy and I wasn't getting a workout.
Pros: Strengthens, Comfortable, Easy To Use
Cons: Not Effective, Noisy, Hard To Set Up
