Excellent workout for the past 15 years

I first saw the Total Gym over 15 years ago while on vacation in Hawaii. I was an avid surfer and extreme outdoor adventure type of guy at the time and still am. I was tired of the gym culture where most people just go to visit and not work out adequately at all. I bought the XL Model and had my own gym at home with no interruptions. I've loved it ever since and have just worn out the roller parts and am ordering new parts to keep going. I'm now almost 68 years old and have the body of a 35 year old and extremely fit and healthy. It has seen me through cancer, two total knee replacements and various injuries do to my active life style. While my friends and comrades got sloppy and aged horribly, other than wrinkles and laugh lines I'm still going in the sports I love. I have combined it with free weights and a very healthy diet to keep my body toned and cut and my stress levels peel away when I work out. I recommend it to everyone who wants a total workout with out the cumbersome nature that a larger piece of equipment. I even have my grandson working out with me now. Thanks

Love the Total Gym workout

I bought this a few weeks before I changed house. I was very excited to open the box but needed to wait until I get to the new house at my new location overseas. I had a total gym years ago and loved it. Now I open the box and have put it together easily. It is great. I look forward to the streaming workouts. The only thing not good is the broken cup over the end of the base. I think it could scratch the floor when it moves because it is missing. Not a big problem but the cup could perhaps be more rubber like than thin plastic.
Meanwhile, I am happy to have a Total Gym again and am using it daily.

Just purchased my second total gym, the XLS, after owning my first TG for 20 years. My new TG definitely nicer than the original TG, but it's the exercise cards that really make my new TG the perfect recovery equipment for me. I am aged, I've endured heavy physical exercise in my career, and with severe shoulder injury last winter, the smooth glide board ergonomic design of the TG, lets me pick just the right resistance level to slowly rebuild my shoulder and other body parts. I love my new TG.

have the machine on a flat even floor.when i do some of the leg excersizes it moves. i had to brace it with big pillows against the wall so it woun't move. when i say that it moves ,it rolls back. not made for a person over 6 ft. tallwhen lying down on it .

last yr i went through breast cancer treatment, surgeries etc. it left me with no energy to even slightly work out, depression and pain from side effects made it easy to just order fast food so i didn't have to cook. this left me with little strength and high glucose. with my compromised immune system and covid i will not go to a gym so i took a chance on total gym. ive been trying to start slow with a couple times a week and ive found it so easy to do even a ten minute workout. easy to change to different movements, im looking forward to being able to do longer sessions and build myself back up again. ive also dropped my glucose 92 points in just a few short weeks. so far i am very happy and hope to get this into a daily habit soon

This has been the best purchase of the past year for my family. With Covid still spreading, going to the gym id still unsafe for us, and we had been going for 20 years. We needed something that was not enormous, but would still provide a great workout. I was fairly skeptical, but really felt that I was losing muscle mass, and my resistance bands were not enough. This piece of equipment is amazing in its design and flexibility. It has only been a few weeks, but I see and feel the change in body composition. There are so many workouts that I still have more to learn, but it has been a Godsend for us.
