Purchased to tone up and deal with some lower back issues. I had a number of quality control and shipping damage issues, but customer service corrected all promptly. This equipment is great for strengthening and toning it really requires a regimented routine for cardio. Most of the videos were good but a lot of them a little dated. The set up basic workout and the tod durkin set are the best ones. It is something that is fun to use and should be easy to stick with.

I have only been using my new a total Gym for 2 weeks and the results are already showing. I use the Total Gym about 4-5 times per week and it is so easy to squeeze in a workout at home versus going to the gym since I have lititle ones. I have been doing the intermediate and ab workout videos, and while they are challenging, I'm beginning to be able to increase reps and incline which is proof that my strength is increasing. My husband has noticed that my waistline is becoming more defined. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

My wife and I purchased the XLS months ago as our old one that lasted over a decade just got old.Coming from someone who has worked out all his life,I can easily say that while there are many great fitness products out there this one can literally do everything you need.I would like to add that I used weights all my life and even though they are great,the Total Gym does it all with less stress on the joints! Best investment for all training.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas, but it came w/a broken end cap piece & the foot rest is cracking. I can do the exercises & so can he, except he cannot use pressure on the foot rest & we need a new end cap for floor (it's causing scratches on my floor). I work on it 3x a day & my husband 3-4x a day!! Love it!!!

After much deliberation, my husband and I decided the Total Gym XLS was right for both of us. Having never actually used one before, we didn’t realize that it might cause my husband some vertigo. So far it has been severe enough that he has not been able to complete a workout. Has this ever been an issue with Total Gym users before? If so, do you have any recommendations for resolution to this problem?
