We bought this about a month ago and when it came it didn't look like this picture at all. One of the reasons I chose this was for the colors and the look. There was also a large rip across the top of the bench. It looked like maybe the training deck holder might have torn it. We were disappointed and don't really use it.

This particular style of Total Gym was heavy and it doesn't have wheels. Also, it doesn't have a latch or lock to keep it from opening once you fold it up to move it. It worked as it does on TV except for the ease of storage and movement. If you have had shoulder or back injuries you will need help moving it into and out of position. I'm very disappointed.

Had to stop high impact aerobic exercising. I tried this equipment and found this equipment can satisfy all part of my body and still sweat but Heavy

I just got this and i have a small space. And had recently had knee surgery. And taking it out the box was a pain even with help. And there is so much knee acting its hard to do everything with limited movement on one knee. And it makes thing very difficult when want to try everything out. But in the end i am still getting a good workout. And even when you are not trying to use your abs you have to with everything. Which is awesome.

I bought a total gym 2000 years ago, and I got a lot of good workouts on it. The rollers finally went out on it, so I just bought the XL. It was way overpriced! Even worse, it was used and broken, not usable! I sent it back.

I couldn't be happier with my Total Gym! I bought the XLS model with the Ab Crunch attachment. I love how easy it is to set up, change exercises, and I love how compact it is when folded for storage.
My favorite thing about the Total Gym is how the cable and pulley system let's me do exercises within any range of motion I want. Changing the angle that I push the weight is as easy as moving my arms or legs. The added benefit of working the muscles required to stabilize my limbs in order to maintain good form is great. It feels like each exercise strengthens muscles used in everyday situations. I can even get a good cardio workout if I do circuits using lower weight without resting between sets. It's also fun to use, which means it won't just end up collecting dust like some other machines I've owned in the past.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with my Total Gym XLS. It was worth every dollar.
