Best home gym ever!

Any exsercise machine at top gyms could be replicated on the total gym, and I find most times I like the total gym replication better. With pulley system you can’t cheat and favor one side over the other. The pulleys will tell you if you’re cheating.

Recently upgraded my Total Gym and purchased an XLS. Was very happy with the Total Gym 1500, but needed the ability to add weight. The XLS is well constructed and is easier to use than any other home fitness device that I am familiar with. Great for toning and building strength. Particularly good for the upper body. Would recommend it for the average person of any age to stay in shape.

the platform glides so smoothly that it allows me to manage my muscles in my workouts without fear of straining any. The diverse accessories give a lot of options for working out different muscles. I'm moving from a gym to an in home fitness room. The Total Gym XLS was my choice for a weight workout. After several weeks of use it has met my expectations. I think it's best use is for those who are ok with lighter weight workouts or rehabilitation. One of the best features for me is the ability to workout without the cables. I've added the weight bar and dip handles so that I can get to the maximum 300lb machine weight limit. My biggest adjustment is moving from individual gym cable stations/free weights to re-setting the positions and cables and accessories on the Total Gym for each activity. It will take time for me to make this adjustment. I would give the Total Gym a 5 star rating if the adjustment bar had an easier handle/lock mechanism. A simple separate pin with handle might work more easily. Also at the higher setting (5-6) on the tower I'm finding it uncomfortable getting on and off when using the cables and I'm a six footer. And yes, I've watched the videos.

I bought this product about a month ago I have seen them advertised on TV for years and years I am always apprehensive about buying in from urschel equipment but I think Chuck Norris great spokesman the quipment is top notch quality and you use your own body weight to work out Everything on this piece of equipment is really smooth and easy to use with instructions I thoroughly enjoy this product and I am very very happy that I purchased it
