I bought this home gymnastics with "me" in mind. After several months on a paleo cleanse I shed 3 inches and 25 lbs. The problem was that I needed to tone what was left! This does the trick. Allowing me to pick and choose the workout for the areas I needed to tone.
In the past, weight training workouts didn't work for me, as I would inevitably injure myself or suffer post traumatic injury. With this gym I workout only what my body can handle ie: my own body weight as "resistance".
What else can I say, it's the gym for me, I'm 59!

I received my Total Gym a month ago and have been having a lot of fun with it. Yes, I said having fun! The Total Gym is easy on your joints, allowing the ability to get much more intensive workouts. I love the features such as the ab pull up bars. It works so well. I work out about 3 times per week and I feel much better in my upper body and core abdominal areas. Once you have the Total Gym, you don't need a lot of other pieces of equipment. If there is one piece of equipment that I recommend, it is the Total Gym!

I have been using the total gym, less than 30 days and already feel like I am making some physical improvement. It is well built and easy to set up. I should have bought one earlier. This combined with my treadmill, they fit nicely into my workout plan.

It arrives already assembled which means your first workout is NOT assembly but exercise. I love how easy it is to transition through so many exercises and stretches. By the third day I felt like a pro and my movements became smoother.
