I am a senior lady who unpacked this product and assembled on my own, I did find it a little heavy but other than that I did not have any problems once I had read the instructions, please do. Do not rush.
Pros: Strengthens, Easy Storage, Comfortable, Quiet, Easy To Set Up, Sturdy, Even I Figured It Out, Easy To Use
Cons: A Little Heavy

My husband and I love it. It really works. The only reason I say it's bulky is because I have not put it away. We leave it in our livingroom because it is used daily. Best investment I ever made. Thank You Total Gym.

I am loving this product and losing weight while using it. I used to dread exercising but I don't anymore. I know that in 30 minutes or less 3 times or so times a week I can get in a work out that is making changes in the way I look and feel. The only negative for me is that it is difficult to fold this up and push it out of the way after each workout. The rollers on it that you are supposed to use to roll it away don't really roll very well. Since I don't have a large space to leave it set up in it has to be put away after each workout. Other than that--it's great!

I got this product-against my wife's wishes because I was at a real road block. I partially tore my heel and could not run on my elliptical any more. I am a 300+ lb man who has been really active my entire life. Suddenly, couldn't walk, run, play basketball ect.. (I know, sounds strange-but true) I am really a 220 lb man wrapped in fat for protection in case I fall.... So, I purchased it -against her wishes-but now we are both using it to get in shape.. The machine is very easy to use, easy to change out, easy to store. The fact that I use my weight against me is an interesting concept. The more inches I lose-the more I gain in strength.. We/I have not lost any weight at this point, but are both feeling stronger each and every day-so I plan to forget the scale until I am at month number 4...I/we don't want to get discouraged by a number when we can clearly see results. ... If I had to change two things, it would be the length of the bench you lay on.. I am a long upper body-short legged individual. I have a hard time fitting on the bench to do the overhead pull down exercises. The width is ok.. just need a bit longer frame to get my feet on. Second item-where the grips are connected to the cable. This creates a real rub mark on the arms when doing the barrel/chest exercise. Other than that-watch out Chuck.. I am on the one year plan.. Bottom line is that we both love the fact it is there when we want to use it. No gym membership required. My wife loves the fact that it is not a typical weight machine-she can use it at her discretion-for areas she wants to work on. Dido here as well. So, we shall keep you posted and who knows...I might just get under 300lbs for the first time in years... Respectfully, Kevin O'

At first, I didn't think the gym would be easy to workout on since I am a larger woman. But once we got it out of the box and set up, I WAS AMAZED! This product is so easy to use and gives me the workout I thought I was too large to do! I Love my Total Gym!!!

I have MS and use the Total Gym for therapeutic purposes. It is awkward at times because of weakness in my left arm and leg. Glad to have when I miss the gym

Excellent for rehab from stroke

After lengthy research of various home gyms I chose the Total Gym because it seemed like a multi-purpose machine that I could benefit from with my rheumatoid arthritis as well as use instead of driving to the gym and the crowds there. Most importantly I was looking for something that my mother could use in recovering from her two strokes. The Total Gym works wonderfully for us both. Because my mother does not have the use of her right side it was impossible to find anything outside of a rehab center that she could use however with the Total Gym she can work the stroke side (arm and leg) gradually and hopefully regain her mobility. Thank you so much!
