Solid tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good solid tape measure with an impressive stand out. I use the stand out as a pointer and this tape works really good for that. I like the fact that it has a removable magnetic tip. Working with wood mostly I don’t necessarily need it but when I work with metal it’s a must have. Glad to have a longer tape measure to my arsenal of tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It comes with an excellent magnet, and the underside of the tape is also marked, something I never thought I needed until now! I think its best feature is the outstanding standout; it arches to the floor before it falls, which is unbelievable.

Extremely Well built and Sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Dewalt 35' tape measure to replace my 30 year old tape that was finally showing some wear and tear. Once I handled my new Dewalt tape measure my first impression was that it was extremely well built and very sturdy. The tape pulls out so smoothly and glides right back in when I release the tape. Very nice smooth operation. The spring mechanism is strong and pulls the tape back very well, not like my old tape where the spring feels soft and not having much pull on it. The Dewalt feels good in my hand, not too big or heavy, and not too small either, so my hands can grab around it firmly. The tape itself is painted bright yellow, and is very easy to read with it's large numbers and clear measurement lines. There are no scrathes of any kind on the blade and the paint and number finish is top notch. On very Nice feature is that the measure lines and number markings are on BOTH the top and bottom sides of the tape, so that will come in very handy for reading in different positions. Love that feature. On the outside of the tape is a nice rubber overmold on the outside, so the tape is not slippery at all, and I can grip the casing without any slipping The belt clip is heavy gauge steel, and is large enough to clip on my belt easily. Also there is a magnet attacment that can optionally attach to the end of the tape that lets the tape stick to a metal surface when I'm taking a measurement. Overall, the tape measure is very impressive with it' sturdy build quality and nice features that make it easier to use. I would definitely buy again, and if you're looking for a tape measure that will last a long time, this is it.

The perfect Tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The single most used tool in my toolbox has to be a tape measure. Although these take many shapes and sizes, this one has consistently been my go to for all of my recent projects.
With a nice wide band that's very easy to read and an ergonomic body that's intuitive to run out and use without hesitation. This tape measure has quickly become a staple in my tool lineup.

35’ make a big difference

With its large numbers on both sides, you can definitely see it without any problems. This tape measure fits perfect in your hand and will never slip out. It comes with a detachable magnetic tip which is easily removable if you choose to go without one.

Measure Up

Redoing a basement one of the things I quickly noticed was the 17 foot stick out. Making it easy for me to measure for recessed lights / drywall / and framing all by my self without asking for a second had.
The next thing that was nice for me was the deep contrast between the tape measure background and the numbers. Having poor eyesight that helps me out tremendously.
While I try to be easy on my tools my friends refer to me as "Hard on equipment". After being dropped from ladders and covered in drywall dust it's still extremely smooth and easy to lock. Overall I find my self reaching for it more then the competitors tape measures I also own.

Great 35’ Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was worried the removable magnet would be an issue. It has held up quite well. It hasn’t come off yet. As with all 35’ tapes it is a little heavy. But the casing has a nice contour so it doesn’t feel huge while holding it. The tape has a good retention spring so it recoils smoothly.
