Seems well built removable magnetic tip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All in all great tape measure it definitely seems like it will last time will tell basically it does what it is intended to do measure and it does that very well i am loving the optional removeable magnetic tip that comes with the tape also love the fact it is removable i dislike not haveing a store soulition to store it on the tape itself when you dont want to have it attached definitely not a deal breaker but it would be nice rather than looking for it if you had removed it

The best tapes in the industry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tapes from all brands. Dewalt easily makes, in my opinion, the best ones and this 35 footer further enforces my opinion. It is durable as heck. The tape is sturdy, the hold switch is strong, it comes with an optional magnet, and has excellent rubber overmolding. If you need a big tape for those long measurements, this is it.

Like my favorite tape, but with armor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good tape measure. Reminds me a lot of a my long time favorite tape measure which is a really good thing. The shell on this DeWalt tape measure is a lot more robust though. I only took away a star because the advertised "17 foot reach" on the package is very misleading. It's a 13 foot stand out. In conclusion, if you like a different tape measure also made by Stanley Black and Decker, but you drop it and break it too much, get the DeWalt Tough Series. It's basically the armored version

The removable magnet sold me on this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape measure has great stand out, highly visible and the removable magnet makes it idea for metal framing or grid ceiling work. The removal magnet also is nice to clean off metal shavings. That feature alone saves my fingers from slivers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DEWALT ToughSeries 35' tape is such a great tool at the top of the range for any handheld tape measure. This product has a really nice double molded plastic and rubber quality like you're used to with DEWALT but this time there is a texture to the rubber to give it that stippling effect for enhanced grip. While it's big, it is still comfortable to hold and it still light enough to attach comfortably to my tool belt. I like the double sided print of the tape measure has a larger print on the side that is convex, typically it's the harder side of the tape to read from an angle. I also like the red numbering on the feet so you can quickly say 8'7" in instead of 103" which is easier for me to remember. The reach on this is amazing.
I had to quickly measure some girder posts in a crawl space for reinforcing an older homes flooring system. I didn't have a ton of room to crawl so it was really nice being able to stretch over 15 ft to the side beam to measure and lock in. Having 35' of tape was great although I didn't need more than 27 this time around I still tested going all the way out and seeing how the tool responded. The attachable magnet that comes with this thing is so powerful. I was able to attach it to a vent and it would hold it just fine while I extended. It has 5 lbs. of holding force, the tape measure will hang using just the magnet. If there's one thing that is just ok on this, it would be the tape lock. A couple times I locked in and then tapped it on something and the lock wasn't quite strong enough. It can hold it self just fine but if you shake it, it might move. All in all, an amazing, thoughtful tool.

It really measures up !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is going to be a very welcomed addition to my measuring tape collection. They say it will go 17 feet stand out. I have personally got it to 16 feet with no problem. It feels good in your hand. I really like the magnet on the end. It helps with working on trailers like I do. It would also come in very handy when working in steel applications such as rebar, structural steel and metal fab. The belt clip is really tight but nothing a little bit a screwdriver can’t adjust. The thing that I don’t like about it is that it rolls over if you’re trying to place it on a flat surface it has to be very flat because it has a few rounded edges on it not a big thing but can be a little cumbersome . Overall very well pleased with this tape measure. I am glad I got a 35 foot one.

Strong daily tape

Blade lock engages and releases with ease and feels durable. Blade tip comes with removable magnetic feature. Blade is strong and easily reaches over 12ft without snapping.

Durable diversified tape measure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is completely durable in many applications such as wood and metal. With the magnetic adapter helps if you are alone doing a task. It can stretch out to a long distance prior to the tape folding over. The numbers are large enough to be able to read without straining of the eyes.
