[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a 35 ft tape broke in 29 days used maybe three times. End snapped right off. Will never purchase dewalt again. There tools have gone downhill year after year!! An of course I can’t post a picture showing the tape and the receipt so you can see it broke in less then a month. Save your money by Stanley or Milwaukee tape.

Worst tape I’ve ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about two moths ago and it’s the biggest piece of garbage I’ve ever used. This tape starts rolling over at about 4 feet. Don’t waste your money. I needed a 35 footer and by the looks of the tape it looks rugged and heavy duty but the tape when extended will not stay straight and just keeps rolling over, such a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Heavy duty tape measure with the extra length

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the DeWalt 35 ft tape measure to make my life easier. I kept coming up short with my other tapes which would force me to make a mark, measure the remainder then do the math. Hopefully not making a mistake in the math. Now when I need to measure longer distances I grab this tape and can accurately get the numbers I need. This comes with an attachable magnet which I actually like, I personally I don't need the magnet. I find they get caught on rebar and make my life a bit more difficult. After 30 years of trade work I try to minimize the stress. I have to say and this should be expected... This tape is heavy! So if you typically carry a tape on your belt or pocket this might be a bit much so go ahead and grab one the smaller DeWalt tapes to compliment the 35' for all day comfort. I was able to extend this tape measure 10' before the blade bent over. So you get a heavy duty blade in a heavy duty body which makes me believe this is going to last a long time. At this point I can't think of anything to complain about. I'm happy with my purchase, it's easy to use, the lock works well, I can see the numbers without my readers and I can get accurate measurements at longer distances. All in all it fills the void in my tool bag.

Well designed tough tape measure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice, heavy-duty tape measure. I really like how it’s double sided. The way you can add and remove the magnet is an absolute game changer. Bulky but not too much weight. Used this on a customers house to get some estimates and with the added magnet definitely easy being solo. Looks great on the side of my jeans.

It can stand up to 13' feet before bending which is great if youre working by your self and need to measure something above you.it also feels very strong which means it can take a couple falls without a problem

Great 35' Tape For Construction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this tape for about a week and it's great. It feels extremely well built, and the extra magnetic tip/attachment works like a charm when working with steel/iron. It even supports the weight and for it being a 35' tape its pretty crazy because of the weight. The tape itself is just like any tape Dewalt offers so you'll be getting a reliable tape to that can take a beating when working in construction or any industry that uses this product.

Real deal no frills.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I prefer a 35’ tape when I’m framing so I wanted to give the Dewalt a try, I like their 16’ tapes when I trim as well. I was worried it wouldn’t fit in my toolbelt tape pouch but it fit just fine, slides in and out easily. The standout on the tape is probably the best I’ve tried against other competitors but I never was able to achieve the 17’ they claim which is why I dropped to 4 stars - still great just not what was advertised. I like the rubber over moulding, it makes the tape easier to hold and less slippery in the hand. The drop rating is higher than I’ll ever be working and it comes with an optional magnetic tip if you work with steel - which I rarely do. Overall everything I need and nothing I don’t. I like it.
