Great scissors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these scissors for about a week now, and they cut through card stock paper very well. I have used them for cutting photo paper, as well. They are nice and sharp, have a very comfortable grip and are well made for tough jobs. Like other Westcott Products...they seem to be very well made. I'm sure these will last a long, long, long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Superior scissors. Rubber grips for comfortable extended period of use on hands. Blades are bonded Ti for harder steel and stay sharper longer. Scissors have all the westcott protection, life time warranty, bonded blade stay sharper, contoured rubber grips, corrosion resistant and ease of use for either left or right hand.

Caution

Scissors are great until you cut something tougher than paper. I mostly cut paper but occasionally use the scissors to cut something tougher, such as plastic packaging. This eventually caused the handles to break, as others have mentioned. The blades seem up to heavier stock, just the handles break with the increased pressure. I know they were not designed for cutting plastic packaging, but sometimes they are right there and I want to get that package open!

Great Price, Amazing Quality!

I was sent this product in the mail and told to write this review about it. I used this product for my Vacation Bible School crafts and decoration this past month. All I can say is they are amazing! There is nothing too thick or big for them to cut, and I definately gave them a run for thier money! Even the other teachers were coming to my room to ask for the scissors! I would definately buy this product over and over (not that you would need to because they stay sharp). There is nothing bad to say about this product. I loved them and will never use another brand! Thanks for great quality in your products.

Great All-around Scissors

These are great scissors for general home use and for projects that use thinner or lighter weight materials. I've also taken them into my office when I couldn't find my others and was completely satisfied with how they performed.
Keep in mind, these are medium-duty scissors, but they are very durable and sharp. The blades on them are more narrow than others, and as such they allow for some pretty good detail work. Very good for all-around cutting and for anyone who wants a durable pair of scissors for a very reasonable price.

Great Scissors For My Home Office

I was looking for a good pair of general purpose scissors for my home office when I received a sample of Westcott 8 Inch Titanium-Bonded Straight Handle Scissors. They were exactly what I needed. When I first picked up the scissors, I could feel that they were solid and well made. This is important to me because while I do not put scissors through rigorous wear and tear in my office, I do find that cheap scissors break while doing even light duty tasks like cutting lightweight cardboard or plastic packaging.
The scissors were also very comfortable to use and fit my hand nicely. The blades open and close very smoothly, and they do not stick, even after cutting packing tape. I'm very happy to have these scissors on my desk and I am confident that they will last a long time.
