My wife and I have small hard-shell Skyway luggage and absolutely love it. Due to covid in 2020, we were to take a family European vaca, but could not. I have since bought this large hard-shell suitcases for my family and the same functionality and ease of use is present. I highly recommend Skyway Luggage for the recreational and business traveler.

I bought this case based on the service I’ve got out of the small carry on skyway roll a board I’ve been using for several years.
This beast had nearly 50lbs of stuff in it and held up fine for the trip in the title. Got back home none the worse for wear. It can be a bit top heavy fully loaded. But it performed as expected. Good value for money.

Ordered the Skyway large 28" luggage. Very disappointed as it arrived in a box without any safety packaging. It was just wrapped in plastic and there was a large dent in the front portion of the suitcase and a big scratch on the side. As I was traveling overseas the next day and would not be back for the due date return policy I could not return it. It is of no use and will perhaps think of a way to discard it when I return back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No durability to stand up to airline handling

I bought this suitcase in August 2024 and went on an international trip. When I picked up my suitcase in baggage claim, one of the wheels was torn away. I contacted Skyway to see if I could get a replacement or they could fix this and they referred me to the airline claims department to make a claim. They only stand behind their product for a defects in workmanship or manufacturing. I would not buy this product again. For the price you would think they would at lease offer to fix the issue.

We bought this large suitcase for our upcoming Alaskan Cruise! So we have not used it yet, but after seeing it we are sure is will hold all the extras that are needed for the different climate…we are from Texas and we are not used to clod temps so a lot of layering and puffer coats and rain gear too!! This is the trip of our lifetime and we wanted to make sure we had everything we need!
