My previous Skyway carryon lasted for about four years of VERY heavy traveling. I was excited to get a new carryon but it is slightly smaller than the old version and does not have an expandable zipper, which I really liked. Overall satisfied.

This is the carry on that we purchased for me. I love the hard sided, light weight suitcases and this is replacing our old carry on that is leather and on the heavy side! Since we are getting older (in our 70’s now), when we go to Las. Eggs or a cruise to a warmer. climate we only need a carry-on and a tote for our things, and those older leather stases are beautiful, but getting a bit too heavy to lift into the above bins!!

I got this one a few years ago and the barley used one time in Italy last November had one side broken and this time in Japan, the other side, broken, very hard to handle without handle

Good price, sturdy, lightweight, easy to roll or glide, fits easily in overhead. Royal blue is a lovely dark color.

Poorly made expansion zipper

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. Had baked homemade goodies for him to take home and share. Because he didn't want to squash them he opened up the expansion..due to full flight he was asked to close expansion or check bag. Zipper broke he had to check. No close repair shop.. looks like only one is in Colorado. No way to get in touch with company.worked for the airlines for many years and thought skyway ok.no more ..will not be adding to set which we would have

I bought an older version of this bag a few years ago. I LOVED IT! The design of this carry on changed to clamshell. I wish it hadn’t changed. I liked the old version where it was hard sided but the zipper closure was located closer to one side instead of the middle. This allowed you to Open the bag requiring less space. The clamshell design requires you to open the bag and lay it flat. The older version was unique but a FAVORITE feature to me.
I also was disappointed about the color. The photos looked like MIDNIGHT was more like a rich chocolate brown but when it arrived I was surprised that it was dark gray.
I love the sturdiness of the bag. It is well made.
