Can't remove backing on label tape

I recently purchased the Brother brand 2-pack refill from a trusted retailer. The tapes were not scored so it it almost impossible to remove the backing. I've used this product for years. Hopefully this is not indicative of the current manufacturing process.

Great labeling tools!

Kind of silly to "review" a label tape, but Brother insists... I've been using several Brother labelers with TZ and TX tapes for decades, they do the job and I like the variety of options. What more can you ask? I do hope they will drop any remaining plastic packaging.

Very sturdy tape

The best label tape

It prints clearly, adheres well and won't smudge or fade. I use it for labeling files, bins, pantry containers, school supplies, sports equipment and more Highly recommend Brother label tape!
