Travel delight

I've been taking it with me everywhere I go. The size, sound, and price are great. It gets four stars because the charge only lasts one full night and turns off sometime during the second night.

The buttons are the problem.

Positives: It's a great size with good sound options. Stays charged for a long period of time.

Great for travel, baby

I bought this years ago for travel. I picked it because it was rechargeable and compact. I started using it again after our baby was born. It's been a lifesaver! It packs light and is loud, although we only use the low pitch white noise. Minus one star for the glitchy button that toggles between the three sounds.

Works great, short battery life

Battery life is extremely important. The sound is great and can be loud which is perfect for my baby's I love the travel aspect of this product, too. But I took away 3 stars just for the battery life. I used it for a 50 mins nap and then overnight on a higher volume (we are traveling and there are several dogs at this home) and at 1 am the machine abruptly turned off waking my 12 week old baby which defeats the purpose. This product is great but needs a longer battery life.

Size isn't everything

We had been using several of the Marpac full-size Sleep Mates over the years. But when we traveled, we had to pack at least 2 of them in our luggage (which was cumbersome). However, about 2 years ago we purchased one of your Compact Portable Sound Machines.
We liked it so much, that we purchased another. Then we purchased 2 more for our Daughter and Son-in-law (who travel alot).
Our most recent purchase (a few weeks ago) is for my wife's Sister in Vietnam (who she is going to visit).
The portable ROHM packs more punch than the full size one, since it has a volume control. It holds more than a full night's charge (even on the ones we purchased 2 years ago).
So now we use the Portable ones "all" the time, while the full-size ones sit in storage on a shelf in the closet.
Great product. Don't know how I slept all my life with a sound machine.

This little machine has power!

Perfect for what we wanted, super loud if needed, can hang above the bed, on the bedside or even on the mattress depending on how loud outside is. love it! Need to buy another one.
